My husband picked up a hot fudge sundae for us after we came in late to our hotel in Gloucester. It was delicious!! We were staying at Cape Ann Motor Inn and ate it on the balcony watching the waves in the moonlight. It was the perfect dessert I could have asked for that night. Exactly what you'd expect, hot fudge and vanilla ice cream, but the flavors were really good.

Picture as many ice cream flavors, toppings, and treats you can think of, then double it because that is what Long Beach Dairy Maid provides and exceeds. Have been coming here on our yearly family trips since I was a kid. Always friendly staff and best Ice cream in town- especially if you like soft serve!

Lots and lots of flavors, hard ice cream, soft ice cream, yogurt, sherbert...... low fat, non dairy, you name it. And, the "kiddie cone" is too much for me. And, the location is great, close to the beach. Adirondack chairs to sit in and enjoy your ice cream. I dropped my wallet there, and they couldn't have been nicer!

Nice spot to hang with friends. And the ice cream is 10/10. Nice staff, Nice Corner shop, I had a great time. Also there is a Pizzria right next door too
