I did a to go order. Great staff. Great prices, great portion and my Prime rib was rare the way I like it. I've worked in Glendora a block away and this was my second time. I actually loved it the first time, but the smell of smoke in the walls killed it. It wasn't bad at all yesterday.

Favorite bar, great people, great live bands. I love the regulars many of them are my friends and I like many of the mixed crowd, always meeting new people even after 10 years. I like all the bartender's some for different reasons such as great personality, great pourer etc. I have eaten here maybe a dozen times over the years. My personal favorites are the French dip, clam chowder. I love that the dinners come with carrots, celery and onion dip. Comedy Wednesday nights are fun, I have even made a fool of myself up there a handful of times, as it is open mic night.. Bingo Monday nights also a great time. The owner is very hands on and nice, and I have never seen her be anything but professional. My personal favorite times of the year are when the bar is decorated for holidays (especially around Christmas time when to me it just seems so cozy, and I feel a little nostalgia every year.

So many mixed reviews on this place, but was a place on my list from had to try. When I saw they had corned beef and cabbage for St Paddy’s, that was my excuse. It was a Friday night and on my way home from a round of golf, so I ordered take out. Got there a little early, so had a chance to check the place out and loved the vibe. Live music in the bar, which was packed, and menu seemed interesting enough to bring me back. To start, the phone order was smooth and very friendly. Once I got there, I started up a conversation with the receptionist who took my order and the manager. We had a great conversation about the place and menu and how I wanted to try the place, but the mixed reviews might have kept me away. They really do seem to care and was so friendly, not sure where the mixed reviews come from but my experience was awesome. I had some extra time, so got a drink and listed to the band. Seems like a great weekend dinner and music night for the future. As for the food, the corned beef was awesome. Huger portion of beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage for about $18. Came with bread and soup, which was clam chowder on this night (split pea was the other option). The soup and bread were delicious as well. Definitely warrants a return trip, where the Basque dinner is in my sights.

My professional group met there today for our end of the year luncheon. Great service and yummy food. I will be back with the family for the early bird specials.

I would like to say thank you to our server, Samantha and Bernadette. Both ladies were super friendly, courteous and helpful. I took my honey to celebrate his birthday at the Continental. The menu for lunch is great. You can have appetizers, sandwiches or lunch entrees. Honey had a lamb sandwich with onion rings. This lunch was $11. I had the prime rib with potatoe salad, veggies and clam chowder. There are other selections to pick from. The prime rib ($15) and clam chowder was great. They also have chicken, salmon, ribeye steak. They have a main dinner room and a banquet room besides the bar area. You can enjoy the dining in the bar side too. Fridays and Saturdays, they have live bands so it gets crowded. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Thank you Samantha and Bernadette for making our dining experience . UPDATE: 4/2/2022: I celebrated my early birthday today. I love their clam chowder and prime rib. My family had salmon and chicken Alfredo. Everything is perfect tasting. Our server, Gabby was great. I would come back again.

We wanted to have a nice casual dinner to celebrate a birthday, and we weren't disappointed. We had prime rib and lobster tails. Both were perfect! We're looking forward to the next birthday celebration. In the mean time, we plan to return to try some of the other interesting items we spotted on the menu.

This is the best basque restaurant. They make you feel like family here. I had an event here and it happened flawlessly and at a good price. I went to the other basque place in Chino and they don’t even compare!
