Modmarket

This was an accidental find. I happened to be in the area and thought I could just run in for a drink, thinks it was a mini mart. I walked in awkwardly straight to the wrong side. The guys were nice and explained the menu options. Apparently it’s supposed to be healthier than other options. You couldn’t tell from the flavor … their steak sandwich was spicy with so much flavor. I also tried their cucumber and ginger carrot drinks and they were refreshing!

The salads at modern market are always great and are made with fresh, great ingredients. A little upset with their staff for apparently verbalizing the issues they had with making a cheese pizza with no sauce... maybe keep your comments to yourself when you work in an open kitchen where staff and all the customers can hear your comments...

Update: (10min)Stomach is not happy right now. Should have denied the meal. Let you know if hospitalized.🤢 I’ve been to the Fort Collins, Lakewood, Thornton and DEN Airport. By far this is the worst Mod Market with flavor and quality. There have all been different but, this one is the straw that broke the camel's back. The pork was way too dry and avocados were black on the inside. The Herb Chicken was soaked in oil. Mashed sweet potatoes saved the meal. I’ve will stop eating at Mod Market from now on. It was that bad.

Terribly bland, small portions, and would have been an entirely dry side salad if I didn’t ask for a side dressing. Hands down the worst meat I’ve ever had- dry, had no flavor, and was only 4 slices of steak for a $13.50 meal. This would maybe get 3 stars if it was priced at the value- somewhere around $5. I had a better salad + value at the airport. No need to try Modern Market again. I would recommend Sweetgreen every day of the week. Or McDonalds- at least you’re getting the same quality of food and not paying ludicrous prices.

Food is pretty tasty, but the service is absolutely horrendous. They offer delivery on their website, and it is disastrous. I placed an order, and the delivery person gave us a completely wrong order from a completely different restaurant (Philly cheesesteaks). We tried ordering again because the food IS good, and they switched items in our order for another person’s and omitted items. I do not think we will order again. Food is too expensive for so much hassle.
