Hot Bagels & Deli

Super delicious breakfast sandwiches (sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel) is my favorite. You will NOT be disappointed if you pop in here. Sometimes you will see a line in front of you but it's for a reason! Great little stop for breakfast or lunch on the west side of the Valley 67th/Happy Valley Rd.

Met a friend for coffee and bagels. We arrived at 1 pm to find an abundance of bagels and very helpful and friendly staff. Our order was handed to us, and as I stopped to fill my coffee cup I noticed it was the last of the coffee, and it was barely warm. Bagels were great, and our various bagel fillings were generous. At 1:45 the entire staff initiated closing procedure - mopping the floor (right around our table!), taking down outdoor umbrellas and cable-locking patio chairs & table together, all bagels were removed from the cases, the deli case was emptied out, and the empty coffee machine was cleaned out. We asked if they were closing. "No, not until 3" (3 pm, which is what we understood from the website before we arrived). A few customers came in to pick up orders and left. One customer tried to dine on the outdoor furniture (which was locked up), and in frustration went to sit in his car. We left at 2 pm to stand outside and finish our visit, as it was ABUNDANTLY clear they wanted to close up shop. Good food, great service, but I wouldn't go there anytime after 1 pm; they like to appear to be closed way prior to 3 pm.

We love this place. My wife insists they have the best bagels outside of New York. While I can't speak to that as I have never been to New York, I can say this is the only place from which I get bagels. They are delicious and set a pretty high bar for taste, texture, and freshness. They get VERY busy with walk-ins. I suggest ordering online. Then you can just walk in and pick your order up. We do that a lot and they've never messed up our order.
