This place has a lot of competing sushi restaurants nearby, so maybe they get compared to each other by reviewers. Personally, I've only been to this one (in the area) and they easily deserve 5 stars.
My sister and I got here at around 11 PM and there were not many other customers as it was near closing time, but we didn't feel singled out or rushed. We were met with great service and hospitality, delicious complimentary miso soup, our food came out quickly, and the restaurant was beautiful. This place had a huge menu of sushi rolls, I highly recommend it for whatever sushi you're in the mood for.

Today Saturday March 7th, we entered at Sushi Kai by 7:25 Pm, after ordering three plates in 10 minutes, we got one of our plates by 8:40 pm,.. amazing wrong order, but we accepted.... Today very bad service, not expected from Sushi kai that I know. We used to go there since was opened, after changing the management got worse...portions getting smaller, no attention on service and quality anymore..... not enough cook and waiters made it not acceptable. We paid and left without having our two plates...

First time here, have enjoyed Japanese food all over the world. The staff were attentive, friendly and knew the menu well. The food was well presented and prices reasonable, especially considering the generally inflated prices in this part of town. Definitely recommended!

That's certainly one of the best dinner I've had in my own life! Their beef and seafood is the best flavored food ever! The service is on the top of the game ... Oh and did I forget to say they have got many different types of beverages!

I used to love this place, I went the other day and saw the "under new management" sign, wow was I disappointed. I had the lunch box smaller portions, no rice, miso soup had no tofu, salad had no veggies and to top it off, it was more expensive!
