Excellent sushi in a traditional environment. The waitress is very Japanese and very gracious. We had the omakase set. Each individual serving was very artistic and delicious. The fish was top grade. I will definitely be back!

Great spot for traditional Japanese sushi. Prices are very fair for the quality and generous portions.

This is the most authentic sushi I’ve had outside of Japan — make sure to opt for the omakase and you will not be disappointed. The owners are a married duo who provide fantastic food and service. We come here mainly on special occasions and we are always delighted with our experience. We are very fortunate to have such a gem in our neighborhood!

Almost don’t want to review, lest the secret get out! Truly outstanding sushi. I challenge you to find better in the $50-100 price range. Will definitely become a regular here.

Excellent traditional style sushi. Every dish we were served was amazing. Just get omakase and let the chef handle it. It’s a stress free experience. It is quite pricey, the two of us spent over $300 after tax and tip but the quality was excellent. For a special occasion, it’s definitely worth it.

Masterfully made. Small menu. Definitely $$$$ four dollar signs. Worth it to splurge a little. Warning your bill will be high. Tip accordingly. $8 a roll

Very traditional “omakase” sushi bar experience right here in the Rancho district. Staff speaks minimal English, the prices are high, the decor rustic and a bit dusty. But it is VERY GOOD! Chef will serve you a nice variety of small plates, advise you what sauce to use for each and what each is called. Fair warning: if you’re not careful, you could easily drop $150 per person in a hour of steady eating and drinking. You can always choose to sit at a booth and order a la carte to keep total costs down a bit.
