Just there tonight. Had the Steak Picado. It was perfect! Fresh ground meat, spices were great, just enough spice to warm you up , but not so much it kills the flavor. I wish I lived here so I could eat here all the time. The people working are great too!
Great authentic food. I'm never disappointed with the food. It's a little pricier than other restaurants but the food is always fresh and tasty. Highly recommend it.
Food is delicious! Got a caldo de res and the broth itself had a great flavor! Everything else like meat and veggies complemented each other) next time I wanna try the caldo de albondigas. (Yes I'll be back!) Also had a "Super" Burrito. It was just a regular burrito but the price is justified for the size. I got a taco de tripa and asked for tripas crispy... it was made to perfection!... didn't care for the type of onions they use but its ok. Green salsa is amazing! Right amount of heat and flavor! The food is worth the drive and the affordable food prices also help. This place is a small-ish hole in the wall place but definitely worth checking out! Oh! Before I go... their corn tortillas are hand made!!!!
This was my first time coming here and it was pretty good. I walked in and it didn’t look like the food was going to be any goo. I was wrong! The food was fresh and hot, the flavor was incredible and the customer service was good. My husband and I took a while to order and they didn’t get frustrated with us. Delicious food. We will come back.
I feel like this place is largely underrated! Unlike large commercial restaurants, El Sabor de la Familia has a very authentic taste and feel. The prices are incredible, and the serving sizes are quite generous. Their food looks great, smells great, and tastes amazing! The employees (all women when I visited) were friendly, attentive, and served me very quickly. They even answered all my questions without getting annoyed or trying to up sell me on an item that I didn't want. The next time I'm in Arizona, I will definitely be visiting this establishment again. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food, the way your abuelita used to make it.
The food was great! The customer service was great! When we are on this side of town again, we will know where to eat good Mexican food.

Excellent Soup! I had the tacos they’re very tasty however I felt for the price and the size of the taco shell that they should’ve added more meat ; five stars for sure if more meat was in the taco. Love the place I’m probably going to be going back tonight
Prices were good and food was as well. Great little spot serving authentic Mexican food. Menudo daily.

We're here for the weekend from OH and Googled local breakfast near me. This was amazing food!! Green chili chilaquiles pictured here. The corn tortillas are fresh homemade. we have a busy weekend planned but I'm already trying to figure out when we could come back one time before we leave. No coffee, but there's a donut place next door.

My wife's Food was delicious even though she found a long string of hair in her enchiladas. They took the plate back and remade her some, unfortunately, they didn't give her the beans and rice she was eating with it.
My carne asada fries where okay, fries where soggy and there wasn't much meat on it. The meat lacked any real flavor, the salsas helped me get through it.
My son got a carne asada torta, he devoured the whole thing without complaints.
Though not the best experience, it felt really authentic.
I will be back, hopefully to a better experience
