They took out the rice in their shrimp California (handroll) it was delicious... a little on the cheating side of keto but I definitely deserved it. Th sashimi was my main goal. It was good. Thee best place in the valley, food is hands down fantastic lip smacking can't wait to try everything on the menu.Staff are the friendliest nicest I've ever encountered I was told nothing is to spicy and I judged to harshly and I'm so sorry. I would recommend to everyone to try a little slice of heaven

I consider myself a long-time patron of this place at 12 years. My coworkers have been coming here for even longer so it's safe to say that it's a Glendale institution and highly popular with City and Utility workers as well as local cops. First thing I ever had here all those years ago was a spicy teriyaki chicken bowl and it was (just) good. My go to dish eventually became the beef sukiyaki since it included so many onions (nomnomnom!!!), but now I have been getting the beef bulgogi the last few times which I think is pretty good too. Prices here have been slowly on the rise but I can't really blame them as inflation has hit everyone and they are likely paying more for their supplies and food also. I tried to support them at least once a week during the COVID summers but now it's maybe just once a month. That's not a reflection on their quality, just my own priorities and availability to get over there nowadays. I order online or via phone and it's usually ready within 10-15 minutes. The gyoza is good and so was the masago roll when I used to get it. I've never tried anything else from there as I know what I like and only get that now. It's small inside and can only seat maybe 10 people as COVID really turned it into mostly a take-out place now. Still the same sushi chef behind the counter too from when I started coming here so that stability is comforting.

Service has always been amazing. That said.... Im rather disappointed in the last 3 times we have ordered. The teriyaki sauce has definitely changed. One time it was so thinned down the chicken didn't even look coated. The chicken the last few times has also been more rubber like with this last time definitely tasting off/reheated. Love this little spot, have been ordering for years, but each time the last few times its been off. Hope they can iron that out. We appreciate the fast service and for a while it was consistently good. Not so much anymore.

I used to come here a lot like every week and then times got tight so maybe every month or every other month. So maybe I've eaten here or ordered from here rather more than a dozen times but each time has gotten worse and not just the food; I don't particularly like the atmosphere here anymore so I will not be eating there anymore.

Quality is def. going down unlike the prices all the way up. Just paying a lot for rice. Especially when I ordered a regular not a large smh. :( Been a long time client sad to see. Didn't finish btw Update 4/15/2021 4yrs later I my wife got me Another sukiyaki beef and it’s out of this world delicious. Full of flavor so I’m changing my review to a five star again good job guys keep It up !!!

Delicious and clean food. This place is clean and the food we ordered was a little a little set we paid approximately $2.50 potstickers we got with three little tiny ones. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and beef which was super yummy. The meat tasted fresh texture was perfect. Wife ordered shrimp yaki soba. It was a little on the sweet side tasted a tiny bit like ketchup. We will definitely be back to this restaurant just not order the yakisoba. If you like it sweet go ahead try it because the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Portion size was a little bit smaller than other make out places, but it was good quality food
