I can't believe people can hate on this place. If you want Subway with their prepackaged "meat" go to subway. If you go to authentic sub shops you don't "build your own" subs. You order an Italian because it's the best damn sub you've had, ever. Also, if you ever had an issue with a sandwich, tell one of the employees. They're awesome and they will try to fix it, don't whine about it on Facebook like a child. Seriously though, order the Italian (#13) ON THE GRILL, Mikes Way with Mayo and thank me later, deuces I'm out! ✌
Jersey Mikes always makes me think of home in Edison NJ where it is home of the famous Tasty Sub shop that I have gone to since I was a kid. Mikes is so close to the way that they make the subs there that even my negative NJ 87 year old mom loves to go there. It gives me a peaceful hour with her so I am all about Jersey Mikes!
Giving 4 stars even though I didn't like the Cheesesteak that I ordered, should have stuck with my usual #13, which is always good. Meat in the Cheesesteak was meh, was cut too thick for traditional Cheesesteak, asked for Jalapeños but only had a couple on the entire sandwich. Wife enjoyed here Veggie sandwich, will definitely be back just going to to stick with the cold Subs.
THIS IS A GOOD REVIEW even though it doesn’t start out that way.
I just returned home after picking up our Giant #11 Stickball. I swore the last time I was there (months ago) I was going to leave an unfavorable review and that we wouldn’t return. I was never satisfied with the cleanliness of the food prep area, the quality of the food and most importantly the cleanliness of the people preparing my food. I watched a young man crawl out of his car with a uniform shirt that looked like it was at the bottom of a filthy laundry pile, hair was greasy and he looked like he was late (and hungover). I said a quiet prayer that his filthy hands would not be handling my food. My prayer wasn’t answered. He walked straight to the food prep area, wiped his nose with the back of his unwashed hand several times as he was carelessly making the food I was about to eat. I was treated poorly by the person at the register because I wanted to watch the sandwich being made before I paid.
TODAY it was as if it was under new management/ownership. The workers were in clean uniforms, wearing gloves, and the food prep area was CLEAN and I didn’t feel like cross contamination was a problem. Everyone was working together in a cohesive way. Everyone was friendly and I had no complaints. I was happy to add a tip at the register (I always have, but I resent it when in my experience it isn’t deserved). This was BY FAR the best experience in this location. I will look forward to coming back soon. I hope this is the new normal. I do want to give props to the team that was on duty 11/12/23 at 12:00 pm. Thank you. We will definitely return often.

Yesterday I returned for the first time since I left the review above.
I went with a little trepidation because I just couldn’t believe that my previous experience wasn’t too good to be true.
I’m happy to say that on this Monday (at lunchtime) I had a very similar experience. The staff were friendly and courteous. They were each wearing clean uniforms with aprons. The food prep area was clean and the produce was fresh and displayed in a way that made me feel there wasn’t any cross contamination (In my previous visits I was always concerned that they were careless about handling the food that I was about to eat).
It seems as if there was a bit of a shakeup in this particular store. I can say that we plan to go back often. It’s because of the radical changes we have seen and that we don’t feel worried that our food was handled in a unsafe way.
Kudos to the management and franchise owner. Keep up the great work. Still 5 stars.
I don't usually eat in the restaurant but while you're there waiting for order, atmosphere was ok. Food is good. I like that you can see it being made. I've made big orders too and that's also good.
It was my first time at Jersey Mikes as it was "Giving Day" for Phoenix Children's Hospital. The line was about 8 individuals (I assume because of the event) but it moved pretty quickly. The options for the sandwiches add-ons were pretty limited compared to Subway, i.e. There were also only two bread options (Because of the event??) but the wheat bread was excellent. Again I do not know if this was a normal day but the two cold subs came as I walked along the line and then paid but had to wait about 5 minutes for the one hot sandwich I ordered (something to consider if you are on a lunch break). They had several high seated bar type tables for the eat-in crowd and it was similar to other Hogi type shops being long and narrow. The young lady at the register was a little 'snippy' with a customer, who like me was probably there for the first time, when he was given his two cold subs and he said , "I ordered 4 total". She responded in a condescending tone, "you ordered two hot ones and they are coming up". Again, will give them some slack because of the busy rush at lunch time (I was there just before noon). The parking was tight but the place was easy to find.
The Turkey sub was delicious and huge! The device was quick. It was a pleasant experience.
I go here a few times during the week and pickup order is always ready on time and exactly how I want it. Today I accidentally ordered at the wrong store. I called them but it was past my pickup time. The manager at this location made me a new sandwich and he wouldn’t let me pay. I know it’s a small thing but it was really cool to do. You don’t see that every day. I will drive out of my way to come to this location now. Thank you!
And actually they are pretty smart because I do lunch events with agents and need some catering but they have no idea of any of that.
I picked up my birthday regular sub It was great I arrived about 15 minutes before it was opened But an employee open up to let me in She wasn't very talkative But I did appreciate that she opened early for me The sub was great nice and clean inside
First timer here. I was blown away with how fast these people work. Friendly and welcoming even in the middle of a big rush. Kudos to the manager!
Let me first start this review by saying "I LOVE JERSEY MIKE'S"... the quality of their subs are always top notch and so is their customer service! It's always a pleasant welcoming feeling ordering food... and then you REALLY AWESOME food!!!
I've tried just about every sub on their menu and they NEVER LET DOWN! I also never tried their Chicken Parm... until today... and.... ummm.. no!!! lol I have never tried the chicken parm because I was warned years ago so I listened. That being said, seen a lot of reviews on the net touting their chicken parm so today I went for it! ... and now I know why I was warned!
I'm not a fan... with all the good food they have their at Jersey Mike's their Chicken Parm is never to be ordered!! LOL That's my feeling... there are too many other DELICIOUS subs to choose from, don't let it be the frozen then nuked chicken!
There meatball sub?? AWESOME! I LOVE their meatball sub!!! So this is why they are still getting my 5 star rating! Their quality of food combined with customer service that never lets down. I can't let one sandwich represent the entire menu.
Rumor has it that Jersey Mike's will be getting rid of their chicken and meatball parm within a couple of months. I will miss the meatball sub A LOT!! Did I mention I love their meatball parm?? lol To the chicken I say GOOD RIDDANCE!! So long chicken! Seeya!!! A special note to Jersey Mike Executives, KEEP THE MEATBALL!!!!!!!
Great subs, they offer subs in a tub for people watching carbs/dieting. I love the Philly cheese steak with jalapeños in a tub. They make it to order over lettuce it’s a great “salad”!! Brownies are 👌🏼
