The service was a bit slow, but once the orders were placed, the food arrived relatively quickly. Nice atmosphere, great selection of in-house brewed beers. Biggest drawback for me was that the food was extremely salty, but it could have been what I ordered. Pictured is the Cajun pasta. I had started eating before I remembered to take the picture. Sorry about that.
Edit: so after a few bites, I couldn't stand the saltiness of the dish. I informed the waitress and she switched the dishes. The next dishes came out much better.
We went here for birthday dinners and was our first time here. Our server, Melody, was excellent really knew the beer menu and was quite helpful. We chose fish and chips and ribeye. Food was delicious and nice servings. Great place and staff.

Update: Went back again & had a chance to try more of their food and beer and really enjoyed it. Great selection of both food & beer. Nice friendly bartenders.
My gorgeous wife who is maticulously picky about everything she eats is too busy feasting on her chicken blt with garlic fries. The atmosphere is nice and the place is not to crowded. Great service, even the water taste good here. Kinda pricey but well worth it. Great food and drinks.
The beer is outstanding. The food is always good and very tasty.. The service is great, a great place to experience beer held to a higher standard.. No fruity beer here just beer held to a higher standard of original brewing methods.

Great food, great service, great experience. Prices are comparable with other Westgate dining options. I think one of the things I appreciate most (and think might be the most underappreciated) about Gordon Biersch is the hostess greets your party by holding open the door.
Gordon Biersch has a finer dining experience feel/atmosphere without feeling too upscale and classy for jeans and a shirt.
Not the first time I've been here and won't be my last. They have a simple yet complete menu that offers something for everyone. In addition, they have a long list of beers and wines to enjoy. This visit, I ordered the Wagyu Cheeseburger and garlic fries. I had forgotten how great their garlic fries are! Some might say they're excessively seasoned but I think they're perfect. The Wagyu Cheeseburger came out better than expected. I felt it was more flavorful than the average cheeseburger and the burger patty itself almost melts in your mouth. To top it off, the crisp buttered bun it's served on gives it a good overall texture.
Our server was great as well. Very attentive and anticipated our needs by bringing more drink refills and any other condiments before we ever had to ask. Much appreciated.
Overall a great experience, one that reminds me of what a great place Gordon Biersch is and makes me question why I haven't been back more frequently.
The dining and drinking experience was fantastic. The barrel aged Chardonnay should only be consumed if you like the taste of liquor. They are constantly changing flavors of beers so you will never be bored.
They have a $5 flight of beers that allows you to taste 5 options. Great deal.
The food was amazing. One of the top burgers I have ever consumed, if you love garlic like I do. The fries were fresh cut and the garlic version had lots of garlic.
I recommend sitting on the patio so you can see the beautiful sunsets.

Today we ordered the Calamari, which we enjoyed. The spicy sauce that accompanied the Calamari was great! My guest loved the Brewer's Steak. I really, really liked the Gorgonzola Pear Salad. I ordered the Mango Tea which was pretty good. Thanks to our server, Janell, for being very attentive and patient as we had to take time to decide what we wanted. I wish I had the name of the hostess who seated us as she was very warm and friendly and genuinely welcomed us after we waited a minute or two at the front desk.
Not sure why this place doesn't have a 5 star rating overall but I'm going to help bring it up. First the wait staff was amazing! Second the food, fantastic! Thrid the overall experience and atmosphere was really on point. Johnny was an amazing server I would strongly recommend requesting him! The wife also stated her blacken salmon sandwich was exquisite.
