A very chill little sushi spot staking its claim down the road from downtown Gilbert. And succeeding! Great sushi and beer. Lunch specials. Consistently good. Open until 9 (but with a late afternoon intermission where they are sadly closed). Know what to expect and you will have a good time here.

My partner and I visited this place out of curiosity and it was absolutely excellent. The service was great- they were always punctual, attentive, and not too overbearing. Plus, the staff was very welcoming. I love their collection of figurines outside the sushi bar as well, giving it a personable ambiance. The food was absolutely amazing and quality. Best of all, it was for a great price! Definitely will be coming back here when my partner and I have some throw money and some time together for dinner another night.
However sometimes their tables are hit and miss. There were times I saw quite a bit of debris under a few tables and sometimes the tables feel sticky.
Again, phenomenal job otherwise Masa Sushi team. Just be aware of these things next time.

My mom and I are big sushi lovers and Masa Sushi is most definitely in our top 3 favorites! The service is always wonderful, the vibe is always fun and chill, and the food is insanely good. The music they play inside along with all their beautiful decor sets a really nice tone. And their prices can't be beat! It's very family friendly too! They start you with a small salad and a bowl of Miso soup on the house as soon as you sit down, and you can even order half rolls instead of a full roll so you can mix things up and have several different kinds of sushi without having to spend too much. I've never been to another sushi place that sells half rolls and that's one of the main things we love about Masa. We've eaten here at least 15-20 times and we leave happy & satisfied every time! If you're a sushi lover like me I highly recommend Masa Sushi, you won't regret it 🤤😝

Finally found a good sushi place around here. Have tried so many around town and this place is the best. 6 rolls so far and all were amazing. Wonderful staff and atmosphere

I love how efficient the staff is. I received my food quickly and the Caterpillar Roll was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back in the future.
Edit: Came back for lunch. The lunch bento was amazing.

I went here for the first time recently and I was excited to go but I think I ordered the wrong dishes. I didn't love anything I ordered. The fried calamari was oily and chewy, the sauce that came with it was way too sweet for me and the baked sushi dish I got was also really sweet.
The service was good though. The place was clean and had a nice ambience. They have outside seating as well.
I want to go back and try something different to see what its like because they have a huge menu.

Always a great experience when we go. The sushi is delicious and portions are generous in contrast with many other places. Service is always great and everyone is friendly. Atmosphere is typical of a sushi bar. It doesn't really add or take away from the experience in my opinion. When we want good sushi without dropping over a hundred dollars this is the place we choose. Would always recommend.

Visited the place for dinner around 6pm place was almost full (indoors and outdoors) took few minutes to find us a table. Their menu is huge!! One of the things that I loved Their combos we ordered couple of combos in which you'll have 4 pcs of each !
Food was delicious and freshly made 😋 loved it, yet the only thing I didn't like and that's why I rated 4 stars the service !!!

We haven't had MASA in years. Sushi was so fresh. The fish just melts in your mouth. We got the yellowtail love combo and the half killer shrimp and half Philly crunch. You get a soup and salad with purchase, which is a plus.
I remember we used to get a complimentary orange with whipped cream dessert in the past. You should totally bring that back! I loved that.
