The Floatation Device

First time here, it was a Saturday night with a band and the place was packed. Had an awesome Buster burger and came out super fast considering how busy the place was. The band was great and a good atmosphere. The person taking care of the back room (Jessica) was super attentive and was on top of everything which was impressive because how many people she had to look after.

Very disorganized. We went in before 12, wasn't busy much. But we had a group of about 10 of us only 8 of us ordered, and it took an hour and a half to be served. 2 of them didn't get what they ordered, they were brought something else. My friend got a burger and it had to be sent back 4 different times because it just kept coming out raw. The drinks were refilled and they put ice tea in my root beer, so it was a mess. The table of people who were sat down before us, got their food a good 15 min after us, which they even brought up how they were there before us, so they waited 1 and 45 min for there food and there was only 4 of them at that table. Food wasn't great, i think the salad was the best thing out of all the food ordered. So I'm only rating based on my experience and my groups experience. I'm not saying it's like that everyday. But it was my first time there and absolutely my last.

If you are a “regular”, you get great service and community. I’ll give the food a 2.8 rating because it is bar food. The clam chowder sucks so don’t try it. After 7. years of avoiding it because even my grandkids didn’t care for the food, I decided to give it another try. I frequented it one to two times a week for several weeks. I was always pleasant, never complained and tipped the servers 20% even though the service is pathetic. The long term servers are more interested is socializing with regulars. They bring your food, you ask for extra napkins or whatever and they never return. There’s no “how is everything? or “can I bring you anything else”. Don’t waste your time or money.

Wow first time here tried to get food to go so I sat Patiently waiting to make an order. When it came time for my order at almost 11 o'clock the waitress asked what I'd like. I told here a Boss's Club sandwich & fries. She said that I would have to come back at 2 o'clock to possibly get one! What a joke I will definitely never come back the service is horrible couldn't even tell you how the food was because they would make what I ordered! Lost my money!

Bar food, nice place to get together with friends, but don't expect much effort from the kitchen. Had a Cobb salad and they served the turkey skin (you know how you slice a turkey breast and the end of it is a handful of skin?). I'm not a complainer, but it was a pile of turkey skin, and had to return it and ask for the serving of turkey that goes with it. It was beyond the pale for a cook to serve that.
