If there were 50 stars to rate this place.... it still wouldn't be enough. Between the four of us, we had ribs, chicken, and brisket.... beans, potato salad, and mac n cheese. The smoke in the meat is outstanding, the sides: Amazing. It actually feels like Texas when you walk in the place.... it has that Central Texas magic that anyone that's been there... knows exactly how that magic works. This place is amazing, and the only place you should be going for the real deal BBQ. If they'd let me have a cot in the back room.... I'd move in right now.

I drove across the bridge from McKinley Hill in Tacoma to try this new BBQ place out. I checked out their menu first and saw that they offer beef ribs. I haven’t found one place in Tacoma that serves beef ribs. The menu said the ribs were $20.00 for a lb. of ribs. I asked the guy at the counter to show me what 1/2 lb. looked like. He said we only sell them by the pound and he brings out the biggest rib I have ever seen! $20.00 seemed a little steep for one rib but, I bought it anyway. The tender meat fell off the bone and it was the size of a large steak. I could not finish it. I had to take it hone. Absolutely worth the money. Delicious!
Best BBQ I've had between here and Texas. Everything was delicious from the brisket to the fried pickles to the pecan pie! All of the dozen things I tried were really, really good. Nice, cozy place to eat too with a cute local artist in residence when we went 👍
This place was awesome. There was no wait time, the food was amazing and they had a local author in the corner with books to sell. I also loved that the staff were really friendly and helpful. If you love ribs this is the place to go!
1st time here and completely impressed from the moment walking in. Greeted and was given tastes of the meat. The customer service was awesome and friendly. The bbq was delicious! My son was completely happy and so was I. Will definitely be back!

Yo they got the big boy beef ribs I love you just have to make it there early to get lucky before it sells out. The half chicken was fire and the staff was super cool I try to go by any time I’m in the area.
Good smoked meats. Great prices. Had the BBQ Boat-pulled pork, sausage, baked beans, and potato salad. Just the right amount of food for me. And the guys that work there are friendly, helpful, and professional. This place is a good choice at the end of your day.
