The Pie Folks is the best dessert place in town. I've tried over half of the menu and I keep coming back for the Ape Wild Banana. I just tried the Blueberry and Strawberry Rhubarb and they were superb. I recommend the blueberry warm and the strawberry rhubarb cold. Seriously worth it.

It was our first time in the shop and we were welcomed by Darryl. He was extremely welcoming and just one of those guys with a great personality! We had a sample of Slap yo Mama and it was delicious. We got a Wedding cake cupcake and pecan, coconut, Java Mocha, & a Slap Yo Mama chocolate pie. They were absolutely delicious!! Like the kind of pie you put in your mouth and moan a little… The owner came out to hand us our order and she was very friendly. The Pie Folks are good people with great pies!

I got a half lemon icebox and half pecan pie and they were both just wonderful. Lovely owners and nice conversation, too! Can't wait for the Whataburger to be built and see the pies fly even faster off their shelves. This will be a must-stop for me from now on when I'm in Memphis. Thank you, Pie Folks! :)
