Fish Whistle At The Granary

The Granary has joined forces with The Fishwhistle, formerly located in Chestertown, Md. The Granary sits on the Sassafras River & you have an awesome view from any seat in the restaurant or bar. The service is outstanding & the food is the very definition of delicious!!! The staff are all very friendly & helpful. The restaurant is good for all ages. The restaurant is also very spacious. For a handicapped person the walk up the concrete ramp to the front door is not an easy one. However, they do have handicap parking at the bottom of the ramp. You can also be dropped off at the top of the ramp. My partner & I both ordered the same thing. We had halibut with lump crabmeat in a butter sauce. It came with wild rice & carrots. Everything was amazing!!! Then we ordered dessert. I got apple crisp, & my partner got key lime pie. They were both to die for!!! Their dinners are moderately priced and are worth every penny!!!

We have been several times over the years and we have always had an excellent meal with very good service! We recently went ( August) for a cozy post wedding reception/meal in a private back room that looking out over the water and we watching the sunset...it was perfect! Again the entrees were served hot & delicious. Beautiful views, nice menu selection, good prices, live music downstairs later in the evening...i definately recommend this place
