We stopped at this delightful little restaurant with about five tables inside and several picnic tables outside while waiting for the traffic on I 70 to clear. Even though the app here says that they’re closed they were open and one man was manning the kitchen and the cash register at the same time. Unfortunately Josh the little boy in the picture fell asleep before he could eat any food. He said he was hungry and he said he had to go to the bathroom and then he said he wanted to go home. Then he did not say he wanted to fall asleep and I did. Either course this was a wonderful place to stop and wait for traffic to go away

I have not been to George Town for year's. And it is still one of the best little towns in Colorado. I love the friendly staff and clean store. It is also a gift store. So you can sip on you drink and pick up some treasure's. If you are looking for a day trip, this would be fun for the hole family. Come and check out this town for yourself.
