We just moved back to town and am excited that Upbeat is still a Georgetown staple! Good pricing and daily coffee specials. You won't find this food menu at Starbucks either! Christy, the owner also said they are looking into some additional gluten free items :)

Really love this place great quiet place to go and chillax. Plus their house mocha is amazing and everything is really cheap.

The Upbeat Cafe is an Excellent place to meet with friends, or make new ones! The Staff is absolutely wonderful, they are very caring and thoughtful. The Coffee is locally roasted, and tastes fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommend the coffee, and I would also highly recommend taking the time to stop in and getting a bite to eat. Excellent soups, salads and sandwiches! Overall, I would rate this 10 out of the 5 stars allotted. Also, depending on the time of year, if it is nice weather, you may want to sit out front or in the back patio.

My husband and I stopped in here today while sight seeing in the area. A cute little place with fun art work and a relaxing vibe. My husband had just plain ol' coffee and I had Southern Pecan, both very good. After checking out the sandwich menu decided to have lunch. Hubby had grilled cheese which he said was great and I had grilled pimento cheese which was also very yummy. My only complaint, if you can call it that, was there was so much pimento cheese that it didn't melt all the way to the center - not a bad situation to find yourself in though. The staff was super friendly and they offer free coffee refills plus a to-go cup if you want one.

As I patiently waited outside with my dog, I was wondering why it was taking my girlfriend forever to get two Americanos since this place didn't seem that busy. After waiting 30 minutes I was able to finally taste why it took so long: The young lady making the coffee had to run to Speedway to get it. It tasted like watered-down Folgers crystals. We tossed them and went to the one place we were trying to avoid: Starbucks.
