Love this place. I can't have beef of wheat (gluten) so I had their grilled chicken on a gluten free bun it was awesome. I was in heaven while eating it. My husband said it was the best burger he's ever had and his cousin loved hers too. You put all the fixings on yourself. The French Frys were the best. I don't know what they do to make them sooooo tasty 😋. Highly recommend this place. 👍👍👍👍👍
My family loves eating at Burger University. Their selection of hamburgers are great. Every burger we have had here are top notch and sooo good. I found my favorite, the Spring Break, which is a terayaki burger with terayaki sauce, bacon (which is never overcooked) and cheese. Their french fries are large portions. Small will feed two people and large feeds four. They offer regular fries and sweet potato fries. Both are good, but I'm more partial to the sweet potato fries. The prices are a tad high. For a family of four eating four burgers, 2 small orders of fries and with 4 soft drinks the bill is about $50. But it's worth every penny!
The restaurant is located in the Georgetown Square inside the 2 story M.B. Lockett Building, which was constructed in 1896. It has two levels to sit on, set up like an old saloon with the upstairs set up in a "U" shape overlooking the lower level. However, the upstairs is typically only open during busy times like Friday and Saturday evenings. They occasionally have live entertainment on the weekend evenings too. The location makes for a nice evening, as you can walk the Square afterwards or walk or drive to San Gabriel Park and stroll along the San Gabriel River. It can get busy at times, especially if there is an event on the Square, which it seems like there is in Saturdays. Burger University has great food, great service and a great location.
First time visiting this place and now it won't be the last!! I absolutely love the food and ambiance that this place has.
Also need to take on that food challenge.
My daughter's loved the chicken strips and the burgers were priced very fairly and tasted great.
A hole in a wall type of burger place in Gtown. Been hearing about it from some of my friends and we had the chance to visit it 3 weeks ago. Service was excellent as well as their burgers! The only thing I disliked was their greasy onion rings.
Good food, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff. I went between lunch and dinner so there weren't very many people there.
First time here, I loved the customizable options on the menu and the root beer was fantastic! (I got the teachers pet + bacon + jalapenos.)
Cool little place. Good food I had a class prez (chicken fried stake burger). Really good comfort food.
I love this place. We walk here with the kids after visiting the library. Great prices, free nacho cheese, ranch for the fries and right on the Georgetown Square. The building is a historic storefront.
Wow, great burgers, fries, onion rings and chicken strips!! The service was great as well.
