I usually come here for breakfast and occasionally lunch, I'm a local - I love their reuben, fried chx club, crabcakes (depending on how hungry I am) w/ french fries or whatever for lunch and I like my eggs over med w/bacon (crispy, btw) w/home fries for breakfast - heck everything I've eaten here is really tasty & I love the laid back atmosphere right on Front Street in the Historic District - after eating you can walk the boardwalk (behind the cafe) along the Sampit River & do some shopping at all the quaint shops or just take in the view
The best grits in the whole world, sweet little cafe in a beautiful Historic Georgetown, Sc. This place takes you back in time and the food is home cooking. I have never had Yellow Grits and this place has it and it tast amazing. You must try it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This place usually has a great breakfast. I went against what I usually ordered and got the biscuits and gravy with a single side of pancake. I hate to say it but I was very disappointed in the biscuits and gravy. I probably won't get that again. I typically get corned beef, hash and eggs which is excellent. On the high note, the pancake was absolutely great
Has a real Cafe vibe to it!! The food and service was amazing!! They do close at 2pm Mondays thruogh Fridays!! I had the flounder platter with home fries and Cole slaw.
The shrimp and grits were awesome and the Low Country omelet was outstanding - perfectly cooked shrimp in a flavorful sauce. We'll definitely be back. And, the coffee was very good, not something I can often say for a diner. Thumbs up.
If you’re looking for a small town cafe, excellent service, and a wonderful breakfast, Thomas’ Cafe is the perfect stop! It’s one of the only restaurants open before 11am in Georgetown so thats helpful for out of town guest who want to grab a quick bite to eat before heading back home! The service was fantastic and the food was great! We ordered the Prince George meal off the menu. We will definitely be returning when we visit again.
First time there. Great breakfast, family owned and operated. Plan to return next time in Georgetown via my boat.
Wow! Huge lunch portions and really great service. The chicken tenders were juicy and the potatoes crispy yet soft. A pickle warning on the menu would have been appreciated, but I know for next time.
Good breakfast. Good service. I liked it because it felt more like a small-town local place, than a tourist restaurant. When I am passing through, I will probably stop again.
Food was very good, service was very slow in the morning. As a casual hangout it's wonderful, but definitely a large time investment.
Great food at a reasonable price! I had the chicken salad platter and asked for no cottage cheese, which I don't eat. Look at it- so yummy!
Best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time, pleasant local place. Feels like you're in a Norman Rockwell picture.
