Ree's Corner Store

We traveled far to get here only to find it was closed during its normal operating ours. There was NO sign that said why they were closed, or when they were re opened. These kinds of places remind me of my great grandfather who was a WW2 Navy veteran and I was saddened I couldn't go here and remember him. We tried calling and seeing if they would be open later but no answer. I really was looking forward to going here, I just wish they at least would let people know when and why they were closed to save people the trip.

Shopppers Beware...We were visiting our friends from out of town and they took us to this local shop...we had picked out some items to purchase and my wife went to look at another piece...she picked it up and it fell out of her hand. She was very upset and immediately came over to tell me...at that time the sales clerk ran over to investigate...my wife at that time told her it fell and she offered to pay for it. I asked to see the item and noticed it had obviously been broken in another place and reglued...I asked the sales clerk if we could get a discount since it previously been broken. The sales clerk would not admit that it had been broken before...I at that time requested she call the owner of the store. The sales clerk did call the owner but proceeded to illustrate us as common criminals...We were asked by the owner to leave and never come back into the store again. I opted to take the high road and just pay the full $30 for the item and leave and never patron this location again! I am an executive myself in retail for over 30 years and this was the worst case of customer service I have been put thru...This is how retail itself gets a bad name! I hope this retailer reads this and rethinks the way the could have handled this situation.
