The Latest Crave

We ordered cupcakes from here for my daughters princess birthday. The customer service was outstanding. I told her the theme of my daughters birthday and she had an idea to put cute little edible wands on each cupcake! They looked adorable. And the taste did not disappoint either! The frosting was the best I have ever tasted. I had so many people ask me where I got them from! Thanks again for a great experience. We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a new cupcake place to try out. The toffee was good (that is why there are two stars) but all three cupcakes we purchased were really dried out. The bottom of my cupcake was so dry that the bottom crumbled and the filling fell out of it. My daughter would not even take a bite out of hers. Maybe that is why everyone who came in to buy snacks just purchased the toffee. Maybe we just came on a bad day and at a bad time. Will have to come back again on another day. Seems like the cupcake was really old, maybe they need to invest in a better display case.

This was my favorite cupcake place in the area for years! Moved out of state and was so excited to come back and get some cupcakes. Was really disappointed and will not be returning. Cupcakes got smaller, and were spongey and dry. Frosting was also not nearly as sweet as I remember. Really frustrating since they’re expensive and I was expecting top quality cupcakes. Grocery store cupcakes taste better and fresher than these.

I saw recently on Facebook that Jenny McCarthy got cupcakes here for Donny wahlberg so you know this place has to be good! I was never a big cupcake or sweetsguy until I met my girlfriend who loves to bake, she told me about this place years ago and have been goIng there since. I’ve literally tried every cupcake over the past 3-4 years and they definitly have that quality taste to them that I’ve never had before in cupcakes or sweets, it reminds me of going to an extravagant wedding where everything is gourmet. I grew up in a big Italian family so every family party I try to bring some sort of contribution or food I got the English toffee from the latest crave as a a last minute gift one year and I’m glad I did, every Christmas Easter and thanksgiving they specifically ask me to bring that, to them and they all fight over it so I started buying several bags. this place started a new tradion in a family that is very old school when it comes to traditions. but I hope the latest crave sticks around forever to keep it going as a tradition in our family. The owners and staff are always very friendly and you can tell they love what they’re doing and that they love to be there unlike other competitors. I’d recommend to everyone even people like me who thought they didn’t like sweets, this place opened me up to a whole new world!

I wanted to give this place a better review, but the last time I was there was frustrating. They offer their cupcakes in a plastic cup "to go". I asked if they could fill my same cup with water from the tap. They refused, saying I had to buy a bottled water. After I purchased 3 cupcakes at a cost of FIFTEEN DOLLARS? It's a bakery with running water, no? I understand the desire to charge for everything. They are just trying to run a business. But, denying my child a cup of water?! Might I suggest having better hours? Closing at 5 pm daily is great for you, but kind of tough for your own customers that work. Another suggestion? Being open on Sunday when hundreds of people are meandering down town Geneva is a thought. Maybe then you could afford give out a cup of water.

I've been here a few times over the past couple years they've been open and I feel like something is different. The cupcakes today were dry and nothing really special. I bought 4 cupcakes and one bottle of water for just over $15!!!!! That is crazy! They are not really big either. Actually, they seem pretty small considering how expensive they are. Also, I didn't like the little plastic take-away cups either. The cupcakes slid around too much and got a little messed up by the time I got home. The gal at the counter seemed annoyed with me. Not that she was rude, just not overly nice. And, I do not care for how their payment system asks for a tip. Really, a tip for overpriced cupcakes?! It just makes you feel guilty pushing the "No Tip" button. I'll go back, if my kids insist on a cupcake that is!

not sure why ppl are giving this place bad reviews shame on you. we have been here numerous times and i adore thier cupcakes! yes they are a lil over priced considering i xan go to other places and get the same for about a dollar cheaper. but this is a great place to treat urself ! they mad 2 dozen cupcakes for my wedding and everyone raved how fantasitc thry were !!! so thank you so much! i would work on ur prices tho i aid 87 for two dozen cupcakes. i got quotes from other bakeries just has good for 20 bucks cheaper w bigger cupcakes however i decided to go w u guys because my venue was a block or two away and u offeres to deliver which to me on my wedding may have been worth it !

I'm giving this one star since this Dominique Carter person, the owner of this place apparently, went onto the Google reviews for a The Sugar Path cupcake shop and rated them as a one star, without even giving a comment. That's just low. Obviously your shop isn't doing well for a reason, but that doesn't mean you have to rate the BETTER competition lower. Word of mouth. Remember that.
