Cellar The

Been going here for years. Award winning charcoal grilled steaks. New York strip is my go too delicious and tender. Old school supper club vibe and yes it's in the cellar. Two good size dining rooms with a full bar and a separate party room. Some gaming machines in the bar. Some crackers with a delicious cheese spread to start. Recommend the onion rings and mushrooms as a appetizer. Steaks and Catfish are always great here. Free sticky buns as a dessert after your meal also have several paid selections as well. Large variety of table sizes so no matter your group size they can seat you. Reservations are recommended most nights. This place has been around forever for a reason, give them a try you'll love it.

If you want the best Steak in Illinois and most likely Iowa, look no further. Their fillet is so freaking tender it cuts like butter. The flavor is beyond words. Hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. I've eat at some Prime Steak Houses that don't compare to The Celler. Don't expect a super fancy place inside. It's a bit outdated, but don't let that stop you. The prices is reasonable for the quality you get. You can dress up if you like or go in your jeans. You won't look out of place. The service is also top notch here. Fast Friendly and very attentive. If you aren't in the mood for a steak, their chicken breast is great. My wife also loves their salmon. You will not leave hungry!
