We had heard good things about the Blind Squirrel since it had opened and gave it a try on New Years Eve. Even with a limited menu shaped for the occasion, everyone in our group was thrilled with their meals. I had the pork schnitzel and it was excellent. While not 100% authentic to Bavaria, it was still a treat. It was a wonderful combination of tender inside and crispy / crunchy on the outside. Served with the classic German Mushroom gravy and sides it’s a must have if you like Schnitzel. The portions were generous and our server did a fine job on a busy night. We’ll definitely be back. And soon...

Oh my GOODNESS!!!!!!! And I mean GOODNESS. From the first step inside the door to the end of our visit, this place is really nice. Shane rocked the bar and the food was incredible. We sat at the bar and he served food as fabulously as he poured the craft beer and wine. My husband is impressed and that is a job not often accomplished. Our son shared some of the items on the menu (since most of you ladies know your husband just doesn’t do that) To our delight... each item was just as good as the one before! Thanks again Shane! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This is a fun place. You can build your own tacos or order from a pre-build menu. I wish the tacos were warmed up some, but they're still tasty. Good service, good drinks, and a fun place.

We stopped in for lunch on our way through town and they were unfortunately very short staffed, but we would not have known by the great quality of service we received!! The employees that were working that day were like a well-oiled machine and we are so grateful they took care of us and their other patrons so well! The food was delicious and the environment was perfectly “up north”. Their prices were reasonable also! We enjoyed our experience and hope to return again in the future!!

This last minute choice on a Monday night was perfect - clearly well-loved by locals. Atmosphere is a great-wolf-lodge-meets-local-diner kind of vibe with excellent pub-style food. We had the pretzel bites and cheese curds for apps. I had the most delicious fish sandwich ever from the grinders section of their menu (and there was a lot to choose from). Pan fried walleye, cooked to perfection, served on a bun with thick cut dill pickles, lettuce, tomato and possibly homemade tartar sauce. I’d go back again just to get the sandwich!

I ordered the turkey bacon grinder with potato salad. The salad was pretty good, the sandwich was good as well but one of them was a bit burnt.

Recently discovered this really cool bar. Wife and I have been there 3 times by ourselves and the Recently met a group of friends for lunch. Good food, great atmosphere. Only downside is there's one waitress in there that's is just miserable. Blonde with glasses. The rest of the staff was great.

Stopped by during travel. Server was fun and solid tap selection. I had Mac and cheese with rlly good pulled pork. My families burgers were both cooked to order (medium and med-rare)! Lots of food on the plate. Good stop.

We ate rather late. The atmosphere was very lively. Our server, Crystal, was top notch. Very friendly and personable. They have a nice selection of beer on tap, some local brews as well. I got the Walleye sandwich and my sister got the salmon. Both meals were uniformly excellent. The onion rings were especially good and appeared to be made in house.

They never disappoint!!! The waitresses are super nice and helpful. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. There's a jukebox, pool table, and arcade/gaming area with a change machine in the corner. I haven't been to see softball on the field out back but I hear it's really nice to catch a game! GET THE SALMON!!!

The Pine Squirrel Bar and Grill earns its five stars. The restaurant provides a welcoming environment with friendly staff and pleasant country music piped in. The decor is a mix of rustic Michigan sports, with windows opening onto the adjoining baseball field. Menu has a good breadth of selections. Portions border on gargantuan and bursting with fresh ingredients. Service at least as good as the food, with requested items served promptly and cheerfully.

The salad was unique and delicious. Cherries, almonds, bacon, poppyseed dressing. The restaurant and staff had a welcoming, local vibe.
