Bantam Chef

I came across this place a few weeks ago. It has quickly become my go to Pizza joint. My family loves it and can now agree on where they all want to get our Friday night pizza! The owner is a super nice guy, and definitely helps give you that authentic made from a family recipe feel to his pizza. I would recommend Bantam Pizza to anyone!

This is the first time I have ever been there and I will certainly be back! The best pizza around Gastonia area. Northern style pizza made FRESH with some of the freshest ingredients. We ordered a Meat Lovers Hand Tossed pizza and it was amazing! The meats were fresh and of very good quality, the dough was fresh. We also ordered Jalapeno poppers and you can tell they were hand made, not frozen. I give it a 5 Star.

Great...when you can reach them. Have ordered 2 times from this place food was great, the other 8+ times I have tried to order though... No one answers the phone, checked hours and they are supposed to be open. Had one person tell me they would deliver but make sure to throw 5 - 6 dollar tip on it, you don't need to tell me what to tip I always take care of the delivery guys. Anyway moving out of this area but if they ever got their act together I recommend the pizza, pasta sauce is not so great.

Met with Mike the owner & manager of this Bantam Chef Pizza location. Ordered a calzone - one of the few places locally that you can get one - and it was amazing. The quality of the filling ingredients was very good and the dough was definitely homemade (as verified by Mike). Marinara for dipping was quite tasty - just wish I would’ve gotten an extra cup of sauce as I used the entire cup provided on my first half of the calzone. Although I cannot provide a photo the item was picture perfect when I received it. Can’t wait to return for this affordable treat & excellent customer service experience! Side note - this place (in addition to the pizza, pasta, calzone, stromboli & salads) serves shawarma! Will be trying this international favorite on my next visit!!
