Hwy 55

Ordered to-go and the food was HORRENDOUS! Lettuce on burger was brown, paid extra for bacon and didn't get it, cheese fries had enough cheese to cover 5 fries, fried pickles were in a bath of brown, dirty grease. Absolutely disgusting. I remember this place being so good and a go to, but now I will never return after this experience!

Soggy tater tots and an Andys size chicken cheese steak with not even enough meat to fill half the bread. I don’t do bad reviews until the service is consistent but this has now happened several times. Photos from different visits. We’ve given them several chances but each time seemed equally if not worse than the last.

This place should be closed down. It's partially functioning and doing a poor job. It give all Hwy 55 a bad name. Ordered a delivered and of course the $4 milkshake is missing. When I called the person answering the phone says she was the only person working and cant deliver anything. She cant give a refund either. Says I can come by tomorrow for a refund. No accountability at all. If the store doesn't have staff to operate then don't open. Look at the the pictures of the food. The sandwich looks thrown together (no cheese or anything) and chili fries were a ball of grease. Threw it all in the trash. Do not waste your time. Go to the Fuquay Varina location.

My very first experience with Hwy 55. Went to get orangeade ordered food. Had Philly steak sandwich with onion rings. Wouldn’t order again, but was told it’s a burger place. Place needs to be cleaned. Napkin holder so dirty and dusty. Seems like that should be done each day while cleaning tables. Had to ask the waiter to clean our table and he seemed put off. Why expect people to eat from dirty tables especially during these times. Waiter needs to be more friendly if he wants to earn tips, good tips. Not sure I will be back.

I went in set down a young lady took my order, and she was very polite. I sat down facing the door, Watching people come in. There was 2 waitresses 1 cook. Including myself it was a total of 9 people. The you lady bought me my drink I set there for 20 minutes waiting for my order to come, There was a bunch of takeout orders on the counter, People came and went with their orders, Mind you I'm still waiting for my order several gentlemen came in took a seat place to order. About 10 minutes later these guys that just came in got their food. I got the waitress attention and asked what's up with my order, So she went and asked cook, that I asked about my order, Seems like he caught an attitude and says something to the fact not now, So the young lady returned to my table gave me an excuse that something was wrong with the computer and offered to take my order by then it's been 30 minutes. I'm like hes still back there preparing food for other customers. So instead of showing out I graciously get up informed the young lady I'll pay for my drink and that I was leaving, She told me not to worry about it. As I began to leave I realized that I was the only black person in the establishment, So you know l was begin to feel some kind of way. It may not have been the case but I felt like it was.

Unfortunately, it appeared that the previous night's staff had left without cleaning. The tables, restrooms, and parking lot were in bad need of attention. Our waitress was in good spirits, but obviously overwhelmed. We were the second table sat after the restaurant opened and it took over thirty minutes for our order. Our daughter's chicken tenders were not good. We ended up getting her food from another local restaurant. It was difficult to get silverware and beverage refills. I hope this was an off day and next time will be a better experience. The staff was working hard, but it was clear that they were behind the 8 ball from the start.
