Alexander's Mediterranean Restaurant

The food and experience was amazing. We went on a Friday night when they were extremely busy but we were sat at a table within 5 minutes and were able to order drinks and food right away, the drinks were delivered immediately and were amazed when the food was delivered about 10-15 minutes later. The service was quick and our waiter was attentive. The atmosphere was perfect. Overall, I wish I could give a higher rating because this place just became one of our new favorite restaurants!

We visited Alexander’s for lunch on 26 Feb 2022. It was for an early birthday lunch for me, a couple friends took me for a treat. It was a great spot, we had a nice booth, the decor was relaxing and Mediterranean feeling, with cool huge pictures of Mediterranean locations and views. If there was a draught in there, it would have been like being right in the Mediterranean. And the food was delicious and on point. We were waited on by this cool waitress who took exceptionally great care of us. She went the extra mile during our time there - we had complementary soup and a free dessert. It was very memorable, I hope everyone has as good a time on their birthday. Must visit to spoil someone!

AWESOME! Ordered delivery and it was delicious. The gyro was so full meat and sauce overflowed the pita bread and the seasoned fries were the best I have ever eaten. So many fries they were almost busting out of the container. Fantastic price for so much fresh, high quality food. Nice to see a restaurant that still truly cares about the quality and quantity it serves it's guests!

I was looking for a very nice 4Star Restaurant to take my husband for his Birthday. I ran across this Restaurant and read the reviews and booked a reservation. The best thing for me was it was close by and when we got there the ambiance was on point. The service from the water the bread the appetizers and the meals were great. EVERYTHING was hot!!! The service was impeccable!! But the greatest of all, my husband loved my choice!! Thank you!!

To begin, the food at Alexander’s was really good. Tasted fresh, made with care, lovely presentation and thoughtfully compiled dishes. The service was prompt and the restaurant was clean. I would like to try more menu items, though I am sad to say we likely won't return as the atmosphere left much to be desired. With rave reviews and entrees ranging $20-46, I was anticipating a slightly more well-rounded experience - the price point does not match the environment. The interior looks much different now than the photos online. While I generally don’t harp on such details, everyone in my party mentioned the dark, looming nature of the place. The walls are now dark blue and the ceiling is painted black so there is a cavernous, non-Mediterranean feel here with juxtaposition between the photos of sunny Santorini and the tightness of our booth. The quite low lighting was only broken by the well-lit kitchen as seen from the very visible, revolving service door area. There was extremely faint music playing at the entrance with the restaurant being virtually silent everywhere else. The booth had zero seat support and if you have the misfortune of someone occupying the booth behind you, you will feel them shift their backs into yours all evening. The booth sides are high, lending to a closed in feeling that wasn’t as luxurious as was probably intended. For a Saturday night between 7-8pm, there were very few patrons. We just never felt relaxed so we ate our delicious food in a hushed hurry. I really don't mean to disparage independent restaurants because times are tough, however from an interior design/experience perspective, there is a lot of potential for this quaint space that would make it more lively. Some ideas if desired: - Lighten the color palette and replace the red carpet - Soft lighting above each booth - Replace booths to have lower sides and seat support; adequate space between seat and table - Adjust music levels to the occupancy so people don’t feel the need to whisper - Server uniforms with lighter colors - Use a room divider to subdue the service door activity

We have been to Alexander's several times. This most recent time for a birthday, and each time sadly and unfortunately the food continues to decline. There were six of us dining, and the food lacked in different flavors even though each of us ordered something different. The Greek bruschetta and cheese continues to be excellent, but the entrees do not have that wow flavor that they used to. For a restaurant that charges so much for entrees, you absolutely should not reuse baked potatoes. Flavorings and salt seemed to lack and my most favorite dish of all the stuffed salmon was just not very good this time around. And lastly, being that glasses of wine are $10 each, I am thinking the pour should be a little bit more generous than it is. Not sure we will ever go back considering the cost to eat here.
