Moved up to Plano recently and this place is closer to the new place than Nalinh (still my favorite place to get kao piak sen). I tried kao piak, larb duck, tum mak hoong, kao poon and fried chicken wings. All tasted awesome. The only thing I would note is that they got one of my to go order wrong. I ordered the gang nor mai (bamboo soup). They gave me gang seen (beef broth) instead but it still tasted great so I'm not going to deduct a star from them. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back.
Very authentic Thai/Laos food! One of the few places here to get real Larb (I recommend the chicken one). Their chicken wings are awesome, along with the sausages, fried rice, and all of their soups are amazingly tasty!
It is very hard to find a place that serves very good Lao food or South East Asian food in general. This place is refreshingly good.
We got the kapoon, raw beef laarb, pho, nam khao, Lao sausage, and sugar cane drink.
The raw laarb was good with a good balance of spice and bitter. Medium spice was more than enough for our group. The papaya salad with crab was a good balance with a very classic crab flavor. All the other food was just as good with sticky rice.
The sugar cane juice was freshly squeezed from the cane.
One thing is certain though. If you're looking for a very classy hip place to eat, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a hole in the wall where the food won't disappoint, this is it.

I'm Laotian and by far this place has great authentic food. I had LAO sausage, beef jerky, sticky rice and papaya salad. I highly recommend this place.
I make a point to try new Thai where ever I am in Garland or Plano. The Pad Kew mow was the best I have had. They under stand the concept of mixing sour, sweet, salt in the right proportions.
Great food and prices! My wife made me go here, but now I'm always asking her if we can go.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. The restaurant doesn’t look nice. But, the food here is amazing, hot, fresh and tasty. One of the best pad Thai in town!
