This is the only Vietnamese banh mi place I love in Dallas!
Their banh mi are made fresh in front of you, and they don’t skim on the meats or veggies either. It’s buy 3 get 1 free, which is a great deal considering how it’s only $4.50 each, and everyone in the family can get their favorite banh mi (combo, fish cakes, xa xiu, fried egg, etc).
My mom is obsessed with their meats, and she usually buy a pound to bring back home in Kansas to eat as snack or breakfast. I actually hated eating banh mi after moving to the US because no stores can do it right, and my love for it came back because of Saigon Deli. I also tried the other popular place, Quoc Bao, but it didn’t really meet my standard.
If you plan to order a lot, call ahead so they can have it ready for you. I usually only order 4 so I don’t mind waiting and watching them assemble. Ask for the veggies separately if you’re not planning to eat right away. I’ll go home, pop them in the air fryer for 350” at 2 mins, and it’ll come out toasty and ready to be devoured!
Great spot for Banh Mi, Viet coffee and deserts. Their banh mi is 4 stars in my opinion but they really deserve 5 stars because their service is great and besides the banh mi, they also offer fresh made deserts, drinks and smoothies. Been here twice now and it has been great both times. I’ve had their Banh Mi Thit Nuong, Ga, Cha Ca, and Pha Lau and all have been very good. The Pha Lau is off the charts and by far my favorite. The prices of the Banh Mi is very good and the portion size is better than other places. I often go to Quoc Bao for banh mi but I will make a trip here now because the atmosphere is way better. Unlike Quoc Bao, they have tables for you to dine in which I really like. I will however go over to Quoc Bao for the Viet coffee because no one can beat them at that.
Sandwich is$4.50 each, buy 3 get 1 free. They also have drink dessert like three color drink, black jelly, tamarind, and those are$4 each.
Now, the sandwich are really good. Best one yet. We have#1 and#4. Combo and grill pork. Really good. They are busy at noon on a Saturday, but you can call in your order ahead of time.
So, go give it try
Solid Banh-mi sandwiches. Go in the morning when the bread is fresh. BBQ pork is my go to. So fresh and good!
Not bad. Good prices. They also have the buy 3 get one free. It’s very similar to Quoc Bao Bakery. Not as crowded as other places I’ve been to for baan mi.
