After reading other people's reviews, I had dismissed the restaurant. When my friend saw it, he said it's was a good bar. I laughed when I realized that it was the same place. Both of us had the fish and chips, which is made with local cod, and it was amazing! The clam chowder was good, the drinks were good, and we were socially distance from everyone else on a patio all by ourselves. After looking for several hours for somewhere where we felt safe eating, we found it here.
Edit: We were there again in September and ordered the seafood platter. Unfortunately, that was not all locally sourced. It was ok, but the fish and chips were still the star. Fish and chips! Fish and chips!
Also, regarding all the people who may have gone on my earlier review and didn't like it: what were your expectations? It is a little bar in a small town that probably can't keep a large staff just in case we all drive out to the coast. Slow down your time table because it isn't fast food, and you will probably enjoy it more.

This is the best place for a relaxing sunday lunch! It has a cozy laid back atmosphere and the tuna melt was great. The fries were a little over seasoned, and they actually ran out of salmon so we couldn't try it. But overall we really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff.

Servers were very nice but are still having a hard time coordinating with kitchen on food timing. Meals were good and presented well. Drinks came out quick. Definitely a place worth visiting band we'd go back.

Super fun little place! Everyone is so friendly, the drinks are good, the prices excellent for the coast. Or anywhere, really. We’re staying across the street and randomly decided to drop in for a drink. Aaaaand after having looked at the menu we know where we’re having dinner LOL

Jam up clam chowder. Would a got a 5 but sweet tea was terrible. The waiter switched it out for me. All and all a pretty good lunch.

The food is excellent! The clam chowder is obviously home made with delicious potatoes and whole clams, extremely delicious! The fish and chips has to be fresh caught rockfish, which is perfect for a bay town! The steamer clams come in a decadent sauce with a unique twist you'll be sorry to miss! The misses had a BLT, which was also bomb. Homey atmosphere with a nice bar. Friendly staff. All of the above was takeout, so eat on the bay or in the bar! Either way, you can't lose!

The place looks like a locals bar and grill but the food...So far in our trip this is THE BEST Ling Cod Fish-n-Chips we have had. Our waitress, Rose lived up to her name, beautiful. We will definitely stop in here again on our next visit.

Sportsy dive bar, ok beer selection. Has pool table and video poker. From the inside it looks like the building was put together in a weekend and they paid 'em in beer...
