99 Restaurants

The 99 in Gardner has plenty to remind you you're still in Gardner. Images of sponsored local sports teams, photos of well-known landmarks of the city, a view of the surrounding area. Which is as enjoyable as you make it. It was fairly empty for an early dinner on a Saturday, though it took a while for us to be seated. The server was pleasant and did a good job coming around through the experience to check on us. Drinks were topped off fairly quickly after being finished. The appetizer was somewhat overpriced for the size, loaded tots, being only a dollar less than the entree my wife ordered, and being considerably smaller. The food was all tasty, though. A generous portion of seafood for the Fried Seafood Platter, part of the Father's Day weekend special menu they had going on. Will definitely return again.

Everyone was so nice. Family and met at the restaurant after wake/funeral. We had brought a photo album with us to remember some happier times. The waitress so sweet and very respectful. She greeted us at our table, introduced herself. "Looks like you've got some catching up to do so I'll come back shortly in the mean time what would you like to drink" our food came quickly and just the way we ordered it. From the moment we got there until we left was great. Thank you Gardner 99.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Didn't have to wait a second to be seated. My waitress was young and when she spoke it made our dinner less romantic. I asked for A1 sauce for my steak , she said " all we have is the GHETTO A1 hope that will be ok. Ghetto really. This is a nice restaurant and talking like that is just rude. Also she never came back to check on us throughout our meal. She never asked us if we wanted more drinks or refills. Never asked us how our meal was. The meal was decent service SUCKED.

Husband and I stopped for a weekday lunch and while the restaurant was very busy, our server Courtney was quite attentive, efficient, personable, and pleasant. Our food was delivered promptly and perfectly prepared as ordered. The new St. Louis ribs were, as advertised, tender and fall off the bone. A great addition to the menu is the ability to get a half order of the yummy potato skins (4 instead of8).

John the waiter was Great! Very disappointed that they still do not offer Bud zero, or something different than o'douls. Also, for a large chain, I would expect a better offering of vegetarian dishes. Our local 99 only offers one black bean based veggie burger, and it is far too spicy! We go to the restaurant regularly in the hopes of seeing additional menu items.
