The food at this place was pretty good. Small family owned business. Good banchan. I was a little surprised to find that the pork stew was actually pork bone stew. But it was ok. The bones were cooked well enough so the meat fell right off the bone. Their bulgogi was also very tasty served on a bed
KOREAN CRAVES THIS WAY!!! !!CAUTION!! These are HOT, just like YOU (and LA lol) Start a lovely evening meal with this BIG boiling bowl of spicy pork stew [1x CHILLI] Pork meat on the bones are EXTREMELY tender & easy to eat PLUS it's soaked with delicious soup flavor from inside out!! Totally wor
I came here with a group of friends and we ordered family style. We ordered the Gamja Tang, pork neck soup with the bean rice. The soup was delicious and came with large potatoes. We also got the seafood pancake, which was okay. I could have done without it. This place is worth trying.
Looking a bit run down and very "old school" from the outside, but they have awesome food! FYI--their parking lot is in the rear/back and you'll have to walk around to the front. Their entrees are quite tasty and have huge portions! They have your common selections and also the army stew! Their panc
Best korean seafood pancake I’ve ever had.
Great food. Clean and friendly. Had Gamjatang (Pork and potato soup) and Yooksoo Bulgogi (Marinated beef in beef broth). Both are very tasty. Will definitely come back to try others in the menu.
yookaejang was flavorful. It only started to get salty by the time I finished the bowl. Kimchi was good. Overall, I liked it and will definitely come back.
Went here today because we were craving Gamja Tang (Pork Neck Soup) and with a name like Gamja Tang House you know its gotta be good. We ordered two orders of the lunch special and were blown away by the taste and portion size. I counted the bones and there was 6 massive neck bones in there! For 1
Very Korean I feel like I m in korea
We ordered the gamja Tang jungole (hands down best gamjatang) x3 for 9 people and the portion was perfect! They mix the remaining soup with rice and sesame oil at the end if you ask and it's bomb so ask for it!
Gamjatang house was very reminiscent of the gamjatang restaurants I had in Korea. The gamjatang was great with tender pork. The menu says serves 2-3, but our part of 4 got full without even finishing it. Recommend this place highly!
Pretty good. A friend really loved their special and wants to go back so that's a good sign.
Very humble & Authentic The place of Gamjatang in O.C. with true taste of little side dishes that I'd give 110 out of 100.. ^&^ Great for any casual events.. though it looked small from outside, it's surprisingly bigger inside with updated restroom..^&^
I got the spicy pork stew (gamja-tang) and it was delicious. There was tons of meat on the bones and the spicy level was perfect.
The black goat stew was wonderful and so was all the different banchan.
Best Korean Gamjatang (Spicey potato pork soup) in SoCal. PERIOD.
Tried Gamja Tang, potato stew, for the first time here, and it was excellent, very flavorful. The squid dish was very good too with just the right amount of spice. I'm definitely coming back here to try more dishes. Edit: Just tried the beef soup, and it's delicious too. Still love this place
Nice Gamja tang with good price
