Best Korean Gamjatang (Spicey potato pork soup) in SoCal. PERIOD.

The food at this place was pretty good. Small family owned business. Good banchan. I was a little surprised to find that the pork stew was actually pork bone stew. But it was ok. The bones were cooked well enough so the meat fell right off the bone. Their bulgogi was also very tasty served on a bed of sweet grilled onions. Yummmm so good.

I got the spicy pork stew (gamja-tang) and it was delicious. There was tons of meat on the bones and the spicy level was perfect.

Very humble & Authentic The place of Gamjatang in O.C. with true taste of little side dishes that I'd give 110 out of 100.. ^&^
Great for any casual events.. though it looked small from outside, it's surprisingly bigger inside with updated restroom..^&^

yookaejang was flavorful. It only started to get salty by the time I finished the bowl. Kimchi was good. Overall, I liked it and will definitely come back.

KOREAN CRAVES THIS WAY!!!
!!CAUTION!! These are HOT, just like YOU (and LA lol)
Start a lovely evening meal with this BIG boiling bowl of spicy pork stew [1x CHILLI] Pork meat on the bones are EXTREMELY tender & easy to eat PLUS it's soaked with delicious soup flavor from inside out!!
Totally worth a visit just for this pot, because at least you don't know how long it will take to stew the pork to this finale (and not to mention temperature, sauce, etc..)
Coming up next with a well-known Korean dish stir-fried marinated bulgogi (beef) [1x CHILLI] - I can guarantee the marinated flavor till every square inch.
Beef texture is really nice and saucing goes extremely well together. I like eating it with rice - simply my favorite Korean mix.
Last but not least, if you're even more of a spicy person, try this spicy stir-fried squid [1x CHILLI] which I actually think they should have [3x CHILLI] LOL
The squid are perfectly cooked, not too done and not uncooked. Although the spice was almost at my limit, IT IS VERY YUMMY I can't stop eating (and drinking more water LMAO)
Here you'll get generous & amazing SIDE DISHES too - rice, kimchi, mashed potato, bean sprouts, broccoli, etc.. OMG I FELT SUCH KOREAN VIBES HAVING THEM
OOOOHHHH!! P.S. If you go with friends, GO FOR THEIR BIG STEW HOTPOT, DIY cooking time~

I came here with a group of friends and we ordered family style. We ordered the Gamja Tang, pork neck soup with the bean rice. The soup was delicious and came with large potatoes. We also got the seafood pancake, which was okay. I could have done without it. This place is worth trying.
