Wow Oh Wow Oh Wow! A few months ago I raved about a bbq joint being ahead of the game with their hot link sausage. Here at International Deli I'm already spoken for when it comes to their house made smoked sausage. However, I like their skinLESS sausage (Mititei) more. Before ordering I sampled their smoked as well as Cabanos sausages since this is what was going into the sandwich special.
After eating the sandwich I told the owner that it wasn't the same thing I sampled because the sausages were cut in the middle lengthwise. Immediately, he asked me to wait while he made me the full links of the house made smoked + mititei sausages cooked to have an outer bark or crust to seal in the flavors.
For them to make it like this, we need to wait a little longer but it's definitely worth it. Both are so good that I wiped the juices off the plate with the sausage before each bite. The skinless mititei is one of the mildest things I tasted in a long time while I'm still longing for another one hours later. The texture it has speaks for their meticulous attention to detail in the kitchen.
At the bbq + pizza joints in PB I Yelped about in February + April it's been just about forever since I touched their best sellers while I love all the other things there. Here at International Deli I still want a few bites of the smoked sausage with a big mititei portion. The best way to describe the smoked sausage is saying that it has a smokiness with a great blend of balanced flavors. My ideal order here would be an entree with 3/4 skinless mititei + 1/4 smoked sausage for the meat portion. Get over here to try it for yourselves. Again, be willing to wait a little bit so you give the cooks enough time to make it as good as it gets.

Great ethnic European products, friendly atmosphere, great place to shop. I recommend to everyone to experience and to have a taste of the #European #deli and #pastries
This is a great little European market where I was able to find traditional Romanian and Eastern European products , also deli products. People working here and very nice and friendly. I live in Santa Barbara but I make the trip every couple of months to get the stuff that I miss from my home country. Thank you!
This place has some really great food that I cannot find anywhere else. They have good quality food.
5 stars for the most authentic taste: eggplant salad (babganoush), kurtos kolacs, Savarina, Amandina, Deli. People there are also very friendly and ready to help.
You should try theses Romanian "Mici" . They are really good, I just grilled some beef & pork for Christmas dinner and was a great success.
So I haven't eaten the food yet but I will make it a point to do so. My comments and review are on the character and passion of one of the owners of this small business with whom I just randomly met through my place of employment. He made such an impression on me that I decided to look up his business and post a review. What a positive, creative, and flexible minded person. He is the american dream. He is living, breathing, and loving it. He has such passion about his store and its products, many which are made on property, that I already know its going to be amazing to taste. He, honestly, restored my faith in humanity and when he left I felt infused with hope and energy, excited to see what opportunities the future has to offer. I wish he and his family and business associates health and prosperity. Thank you.
Drove here from Downtown L.A. to find out that the meat has pork and I don't eat Pork.🐖🐗was hoping it was going to be🐄🐂🐏🐐 but it's ok got some other groceries snacks..
Everything is good but $14.08 for ciorba de burta is not worth it
I only live 5 minutes away from this wonderful place. Every time I go there I am greeted with respect and hospitality. The owners are super nice and they offer a great variety of Romanian products. Everything that they make is delicious from sausages, cabbage rolls, cozonac, sunca afumata, and all the delicious foods. It doesn't matter what nationality you are, give it a try and stop by to try their products.

Their stuffed cabbage was delicious. They have delicious Hungarian & Sibiu Salami. & a huge variety of in-house made smoked meats & sausages. Delicious freshly baked deserts. & traditional cooked Romanian - Hungarian food. They are about to expand and open a Restaurant right next door in a couple of weeks.
It is the best place to shop for the authentic eastern european food. Really takes me back to my childhood getting all the goodies from the store. The tasty of own cold cuts and sausages are delicious. The atmosphere and the friendly staff are amazing. I recommended to everyone to go and shop !
