Wow! I can't stop thinking about the filet mignon noodles I had today. They were exceptional, perfectly cooked and seasoned with great toppings. The service was also top-notch, making the whole experience even better. Thank you, Tom. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!
Very busy location and can see why. Huge menu of many tasty looking plates to choose from. First time visit with my boys, tasted each others plates. Every thing was delicious, for appetizers we had some spring rolls. Main dishes we ordered the shaken beef, garlic noodles w/shrimp. And the vermicelli & lemon grass beef . Big portion plates so worth it. Will highly recommend and will be returning soon as well.
Had the duck spring rolls and jackfruit soft shell crab salad. The presentations were beautiful! Unfortunately the duck was dry and didn't taste very fresh and the crab tasted canned. I was expecting an explosion of flavors but something was just off.
If you'd like to show someone Vietnamese cuisine for the first time, this is a great option. The atmosphere is nice, and clean. The waiters and staff speak very fluent English to explain any questions, and very polite and courteous service. The food itself is also very authentic and diverse in options. The wait can be pretty long if you come during peak hours. Service is the best for a vietnamese restaurant, and they're all aptly dressed as well.
Prices, it's on the higher end if you're used to mom and pop vietnamese restaurants. But it's for the atmosphere and plating, almost like American chain restaurants. Unlike the newer vietnamese modern restaurants, this place is still a classic for the older vietnamese generation. Their signature nem nướng rolls are my favorite of all time. The other dishes ordered were good also, portions not too big. I like their vietnamese coffee as well.
First day in Orange County Anaheim area we have to try a vietnamese restaurant because it's supposedly alot tastier and have more dishes than the VN restaurants we have in NYC.
We found Chateau Brodard on instagram. Alot of people saying it's really good.
We arrived and the wait was only about 5 minutes for 2 people. There were alot of families dining here.
spacious clean restaurant.
🙂🙂Kevin was our waiter and he was really sweet and friendly.🙂🙂
We ordered beef Pho, fried spring rolls, summer rolls and grilled pork chop over rice. And of course a vietnamese iced coffee. 😋😋😋
It did not disappoint!!
This restaurant is very popular with the locals for its creative Vietnamese cuisine. A lot of Chinese dishes are mixed in the menu. Interior design of the restaurant is nice and feels like a European mansion in decor and architecture. Most of the dishes were tasty and they supply a bunch of herbs and vegetables to go with your dishes. Bar area is also well appointed.
Amazing food. Such a huge menu to choose from. The calamari is my favorite. The spring rolls are awesome too. I had the lamb which was pretty good. Everything on the menu is a bit expensive when you compare it to similar restaurants. They also have a variety of different desserts and around ten different flavored macarons.
Absolutely loved the rolls - so food that I ordered one to go after lunch. Get the lychee Martini and Passion fruit Martini, you won't regret it.
This popular Vietnamese restaurant is a favorite among Orange County locals for its fresh and delicious food. The menu offers a wide range of options to satisfy any appetite, and the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, Salt-Pepper Calamari, Beef Salad, and "Hue" Style Vegetarian Noodle Soup we had for lunch were all fantastic. We could have kept ordering more because everything was so delicious.
Came here with a party of 9. Everything we ordered was delicious! Staff was very helpful and accommodating with our two grandchildren. Also have a son who's vegetarian and he was able to order food to eat. Will have to go back to try the other items on their menu.
Good for groups.
The food was good, it’s on par with their other locations.
Delicious food, good portions and fresh tasting. Friendly staff
This is a Vietnamese / French / SE Asian restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. It is located in the Little Saigon area of Orange County. Service was good and place settings were quality. I saw a lot of Asians amongst the customers.
We ordered simply. We got repeat visits by the waiter who refilled my associate's cola. He got the chicken curry with both bread and rice. His red sauce was tasty and hot - about high medium after a rise coming after the initial sauce tasting. I had a shrimp clay pot rice dish that was very much a comfort food. My rice was cooked throughout the clay pot with a some crispy browning from hitting the right temperature and was browned also by the sauce. I wished that I could have tried more dishes since so many sounded tasty.
We spent about $50 for 2 people including a cola, tax and tip. I want to return to eat more of their food but want more people so I can try other dishes.
This is a very well-known Vietnamese restaurant frequented by OC locals who know great Vietnamese food. The food is not only made with fresh ingredients but it’s also delicious! They have a wide variety of dishes to suit your mood or appetite level.
For a late lunch, we ordered the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, the Salt-Pepper Calamari, Beef Salad and the “Hue” Style Vegetarian Noodle Soup. But we could have gone on and on with how delicious everything was.
For other greats by the Dang family, check out Brodard and Bamboo Bistro.
The spring rolls are really good; we tried the pork, shrimp, and soft shell crab. The soft shell crab is special in a good way.
All the plates we ordered came with some decorations and looked very beautiful. I would recommend this place for a semi-formal meeting for its good quality food and not-so-loud ambient (noisy level is acceptable).
First time at this location.
Bit more upscaled version of the other location.
Loved loved Grilled pork spring roll as always ~ and the crape. Yum
Duck spring was good and the garlic noodle with crab and shrimp .. was good nothing wow about for the price.
I am very please with the quality of food and service of Bordard staff. We miscounted our party and they able to compensate for the move for larger tables immediately. The server took our order very smoothly and the food comes out very fast. The food quality was excellent and the taste was perfect. Perfect is a word that I use very rare because their food is very flavorful but none of them taste in extreme realms for your palettes (too Salty, too sour, etc...).
