Thanks Abe our waiter for superior service and xtra Toum be Garlic Sauce WOWED with actual chunks of Garlic. Had Lamb Kafta with Rice, Lentils and Lemon Rice Soups, Fatoush Salad, Creamy Hummus and flavor loaded Sojuk in Onions and broth outstanding balance of flavor made with Lamb n Beef OMG a real winning dish. Unique dish not found many places be Arayes are pita bread sandwiches stuffed with minced lamb meat, tomato, onion and different spices so excited a must order on your visit. The best Middle Eastern food ever. Their Shish Tawook and chicken fattoush is to die for. I eat here at least once a week. Consistent amazing service and very clean inside!
So I looked up restaurants for Middle Eastern food in my areaand naturally I looked at the reviews for most of the restaurants ,and well Al Sultan in Garden City which I live real close to have very good reviews so I decided to try them out and when I walked in I was so pleased on how clean it was and how friendly and beautiful the staff wasand their food was so delicious so fresh so freshI finally found my favorite restaurant for Middle Eastern food.and the prices were very fair too.it's really hard to go into a restaurant that's very clean and have a very friendly atmosphere and have the food be so delicious, all under the same roof! Best Middle Eastern Food. Always have been skeptical of trying new Arabic restaurants but am sooooooo glad I tried this one. I probably eat here once a week now. There best option is there Al-Sultan combo for 1. This will feed about 3-4 people. You get a little bit of everything and it prices out for under $20. There hummus, grape leaves, and there falafel is out of this world. Try it, you'll like it.
Best Middle Eastern Food. This is seriously the best middle eastern food I've ever had and I have been eating at restaurants around east dearborn my whole life. My favorite dishes are the deboned chicken and the falafel. The service is ALWAYS great and one of the owners is always there greeting guests and checking on tables. By far one of my favorite restaurants.

Great Arabic food at great prices!. I'm a bit jaded as I've eaten at Arabic restaurants all over the country, am Lebanese, and grew up in Dearborn, MI. That said, Al Sultan has some of the best food in the area at excellent prices. Unlike some family run Arabic restaurants, they haven't cheapened the cuts of meat (all white meat chicken is used , for example) or skimped on service. It's a no-nonsense, authentic Arabic restaurant serving great dishes like chicken shawarma, fattoush, and amazing sandwiches all at great prices. Service is always fast and friendly in the 8+ years I've been eating here. Now that I've moved away, I eat here every chance I get when I'm visiting. I only wish we had something similar in Seattle, but no such luck. Sahtein!
We had a little untraditional Easter, but the Easter bunny had. I complaint’s! Al sultan came through again!!! Just a taste above your honey baked ham(which we also love). Worth the drive no matter where you live in metro-Detroit!!!
I don't get it how someone could give a 1* rating. This place is solid 6*! Impecable service right from the start. The food is a lot, we got a combo for 3-4 people - it is rather for 4-5. But on the other hand each of us was able to get some food home :)
The meat was juicy with a nice aroma of grill and you can feel it has been marinated beforehand.
I have been to Lebanon and am usually quite picky about hummus. This one was simply amazing! So last but not least: great value for money.
We were looking for a new delicious Mediterranean restaurant local. Not happy lately with the places I usually get food from. I’m so happy I found this place. The best Mediterranean dishes! I can tell they take pride in the spices and taste. Very detailed ~
Pleasantly surprised after the remodel! Very well done! Cauliflower wings were out of the park delicious! Chicken strip pita was excellent. Middle of the road prices, and good menu selection. Another Garden City gem!
The man on the phone greater me upon entry then came an met me directly...HE IS THE OWNER!! There food is THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER, GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!! They welcome EVERYBODY!!!
Amazing amazing amazing food! I had the boneless chicken dinner and it was so good the rice was great and chicken wasn’t dry and the service is great they are so friendly and understanding and the sweet girl that served us was amazing at her job. Thank you guys for you’re hard work :)
