Grilled Cheese & Co

This is my new grilled cheese spot. First, at the time of this writing, the menu online doesn't do justice to what they have. I had the Crabby Melt with sweet potato fries and absolutely loved. The staff are fast and friendly and the food delicious. This is a very casual, comfortable, clean, no-frills setting. Great for a quick stop if you're in the area.

Upper crust take on an American classic. A place where parents take their kids and older men take their 18 year-old girlfriends. Order at the counter and self serve drink and snack. Galley style seating, meal arrives in about 5 minutes if quiet. On a Sunday afternoon this place was not too busy, staff was friendly, restaurant clean. A fancy melt will run you about $7 or $8 sides, soup, or salad sold separately. High chairs for the kiddies, Al fresco dining with a few tables outside, parking lot/ strip mall view.

The service here is very slow but I believe it’s because they are understaffed. My husband loves their crab melt but every time I have ordered here, my sandwich was made incorrectly. I chalk it up to making small changes to their standards and them being understaffed but if I order food a certain way and pay for my alterations, I expect my sandwich to be made as requested.

An interesting food spot. Thier grilled cheese sandwiches are fantastic! Very large, it's pretty easy for two people to share a single sandwich. They have great sweet potato french fries. A decent drink selection. Reasonable seating and ample parking. Give the special sandwiches a shot, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Today was my first time going to grilled cheese and Co. I went with my mother and when we walked in there was only one other family in there. We were greeted as soon as we walked in door, and I let the cashier know it was our 1st time there. He went over the menu and gave suggestions. I ended up getting the crabby melt and a blt for my mom. I also got the tomato basil soup (a bit spicy). The inside was clean and we waited like 7 minutes and our food was ready. It was hot and fresh. Wonderful place! I will definitely go back there again.
