Service was down home friendly. When's the last time someone acted liked they cared? They did...
Food was frickin amazing.
Pork riblets tasted like Christmas ham on a rib. The shrimp was crispy, moist, and flavorful. The green beans were loaded with pork, and the mustard potato salad was the best.
Not much to look at, but nice and clean. But with food like this, and prices like these, you can't have everything.
Definitely returning!

It's been a while since I've eaten at Leo's. Glad I stopped in. The counter help was fast and friendly. The food was really good. Disappointed that they no longer have cracklins.

I had the fried shrimp and he had fried fish. Both was delicious! Oh, we also had the boudin balls...yummy.

The seafood gumbo was PERFECT! The price was maybe a little higher than I usually pay for gumbo. However, the portion size was decent, and there was a good amount and variety of meat! I would gladly pay the price again for the quality of the food.

I have been visiting many establishments in Galveston County for years and I have had for from here before but never stepped foot in this place. This is a hidden treasure the food and service was superb. The potato salad was to die for best around. The riblets were something to behold couldn't ask for anything better. This is an all around great place to visit and next on the visit is the Rum Cake and everything is made from scratch....

The breakfast bowl lived up to the reviews! The Cajun breakfast burrito was amazing. And they had banana pudding perfect for our picky kiddos!

We go here several times when we're in Galveston. The menu is huge and varied, with seafood, cajun and American comfort food dishes. It's a clean, no frills place with friendly, efficient service at the counter. Some of my favorites are oyster po'boy, boudin, and the breakfast basket.

Oh my gosh! This food is to die for! We ordered the seafood sampler and it was wonderful. We now have a new place to eat each time we visit the island.

Smoked Boudain, Tasso, and smoked Andouille are completely on point here. We had Shrimp and Oyster Po' boy's along with the absolutely stunning Seafood Gumbo. All dishes were excellent and well seasoned.
Chubby lady up front could use some help with her people skills. Seems more annoyed than helpful, but hey...It's a cajun place and she ain't cajun.
Bwahahahaha!
It's great!

If you have been toGalveston. And you Have not been to Leo's Cajun cafe you are missing a secret little gem. The food is fantastic the service is good and it's so unpretentious. It's just about perfect.

Hands down best smoked chicken in three counties. Maybe even more than that. Every time I am in Galveston for lunch I go here. The season and smoke flavor is never disappointing. Plus the jambalaya is fire. And the chicken breast are so big that you think a Hollywood plastic surgeon had something to do with picking them out. LOL. It is a family owned and ran business. The owner and his wife both work the kitchen and front counter with the help of their son. All three of them are awesome people. They really get to know their customers. Leo's is also known for their famous riblets. I've had those also and understood why they are famous for them. For me though I love the chicken đ. If you are in Galveston you have to try this place. If this review is helpful or you try it and agree leave a thumbs up. Enjoy and thank me later.
*Update*
The chicken is still FIRE! Biggest juiciest breast on the island hands down. But since I'm watching my carb intake I decided to try the green beans. When I took a bite of these delicious beans it made me happier than a puppy with two peters. The best green beans I've ever tried. I wonder if Leo is available to be my personal chef or dad. Lol. Probably couldn't afford him but if I could I would. Y'all need to go try this place!

My second time here and it's still delicious! I ordered the riblets with a side of jambalaya. My boyfriend ordered the sausage plate. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. You should try it!
We came back! 6/2022 Of course! I ordered the same thing and added sausage and cole slaw. Yummmmm!!! I couldn't get enough of that jambalaya! I want more already đ

Leo's Cajun Corner, is a great place to go! The prices are very reasonable and the food is really good. The staff is friendly and courteous. The Riblets are nice and tender with a light smoky, and a little bit spicy. The Red Beans and Rice are really good, but they could definitely use some Crystal hot sauce. The potato salad was delicious as was the Brisket. The only thing that I didn't really care for was the Jambalaya... it was more of a Dirty Rice than a Jambalaya.

The food was good, my grandson loved the Jambalaya and I the Boudin Balls. My daughter loved the potato salad. The Riblets are really good.Prices are not bad and customer service is awesome. If your in the Galveston area try it.The only reason I rated it a 4 star is because all Cajuns donât cook alike. I should know, cause Iâm one.

Good, not great. 2 crawfish tails were the only seafood in my Seafood gumbo. Riblets were just ok. Maybe 3 or 4 stars.

We were on our way to the galveston ferry to celebrate our wedding anniversary and got hungry along the way. Stopped here because I saw the reviews and OMG ! we got riblets, jambalaya, and boudin balls and it was yummy!

The Sausage and Chicken gumbo is great so is the Boudin. This isn't a Tourist trap like most isle restaurants. It's local owned an operated. Shop and support local businesses. You will not be disappointed.
