Applebee's

I hate writing poor reviews but I had such a horrible experience here with my to go order. We stopped to get some food on our roadtrip. I ordered a steak and unfortunately it was probably one of the worst steaks I've ever had. I think everyone is under so much short staffing lately I don't want to place any blame. But it seemed as though my steak had been cooked before, heated up and then grill marks were added to make It look fresh. I ended up having to use one of my own knives to cut this, my steak was also supposed to be medium-rare. I am unsure what happened, but I hope it was just a mistake! I have included some pictures in my review as reference, I got the 8 Oz sirloin.

The service was slow due to not having enough servers. Our server was friendly but got behind helping out others, so we waited quite a bit for our drinks and food. Not knocking the staff, as they were doing the best they could. Waited 15 mins to get seated even though half the restaurant and bar was empty.

Applebee's has a good variety of food and their preparation is always fresh. We had a group that couldn't agree on a food preference, so we decided to go to Applebee's and everyone got to order their own type of food. We had good salads, good appetizers, good soup, and good burgers. Service was attentive and the prices were reasonable.

I just wanted to give a big "THANK YOU!" to Applebee's Grill + Bar in Gallup for successfully cleaning out my colon after my recent visit to your restaurant. I'd been on a week long road trip and you know how being away from your throne at home can get you 'backed up' after a few days. About 4 hours after consuming your Classic Broccoli Chicken Alfredo I was glued to the toilet in my motel bathroom, just purging and purging the night away. Also, the bread sticks were legit.

Customer service is a fail for me anytime I have to come in and see more staff then people eating and have to wait an extremely long time to be even asked what I would like to drink then that means there’s a glitch in your matrix. I’d advise you to figure it out quick, your losing money and everyone isn’t going to take the time to leave a review to say it. Trust me, they just spend their money elsewhere.
