Longhorn Steakhouse

Arrived closer to 7pm on a weekend, a tad wait for our party. Once seated, our waiter was very knowledgeable, quick to check back on us. Food arrived timely. I got the sirloin and 8pc shrimp and it was delicious! The rest each got the ribeye. No complaints! Great service overall!

This was right after a pretty decent tornado in the area. My girlfriend and I went expecting it to be slow because a lot of people didn't have power. They kept the restaurant service quick and as painless as possible. We weren't there when the power outage happened or during the tornado warning but we heard from several people that were that told us they did a very good job handling everything during that time. This is amazing to hear because this definitely makes us want to come back more being that they can handle major events such as this. Our server was awesome and made sure that everybody got hot meals in a very timely manner and checked on us very frequently. Definitely will be coming back.

Longhorn steakhouse as a whole is consistent across the region and I appreciate that. This particular longhorn steak house location had excellent service from the time that I walked into the door until the time I left. I came in at around 8pm on a Monday; which I believe to be a time and day where you can expect things to be messy, but at this longhorn location they were not. I only waited about 30 seconds for a hostess to seat me in a kind and quick manor. I did however, wait for around 10 minutes before being tended to by a waiter. Which given the time and and busyness of the restaurant I believe to be acceptable. The hostess noticed me still without a menu and promptly came to give take a drink order from me and get me squared away. When I did meet my waitress finally she was very kind and very attentive and made up for the initial wait period. I ordered the shrimp for an appetizer and I enjoyed it. It is a huge dish that I believe to be very fairly priced. It could easily feed 2-3 adults. I then ordered the cowboy ribeye and a side of lobster tail. Both of these items were just “okay”. I was not at all impressed with the $11 lobster tail addition. Nonetheless I do believe it was on par for a chain steakhouse in Tennessee. It was not bad, it was cooked right, but I just would not order it again. The bone in rib-eye was also cooked correctly and tasted great, but it was not priced correctly for the quality of meat. Drinks were good and fairly price, Service was well above expected, and the food was good. All in all I would eat at longhorn steak house in Gallatin again, but I will be trying dishes that are more simple to perfect.

Food was great! Service was even better. French onion soup is as good as you'll find. Really like the spicy chicken bites for an appetizer. Salmon is always my go to for an entree. Really enjoyed our visit here!
