Very likely the best chicken quesadillas I've ever had! Hands down the best fajitas too. The service was nothing short of amazing. Nice small place where you get excellent food, great service and a small bill.

It was New Years Eve and we were starving. We wanted to steer clear of the crowds downtown. I had read the reviews and thought we would try. We were glad that we did. With only a few tables in the tiny dining room, it's more like eating with the owner and his family and indeed they were all milling around. I ordered a Margarita because, well a Margarita is sort of a litmus test for a restaurant that serves Mexican cuisine. Don't you agree? It was truly remarkable! My wife, the non Tequila drinker, now has South of the border fantasies about these Margaritas. She loved them. Not enough "O" s in smoooooth! As we waited for our food the owners son made quite a hit as he engaged every female in the place (there were only 4) in a dance. With the Latin American music playing he danced with them all. We all clapped and laughed and had a fine time. The owners are so nice! The food arrived and everything looked so fresh. I had fajitas. Which had broccoli mixed in with the onions and peppers and all grilled to perfection. Delicious! My wife had shrimp tacos and from her reaction I could tell they were tasty. I did manage to convince her let me sample them and they were very good. The menu is fairly wide and has some real authentic items like tongue tacos. The price is higher than your average Mexican restaurant but our experience was worth it. Such a great way to celebrate. We will be back there again to see if the next time is as good as the first. If you find yourself in Galena and have a craving for good fresh authentic Mexican food why not give them a try.

Can't beat Taco Tuesday! Delicious Mexican-style tacos at a super reasonable price. The carnitas are great! The salsa is extremely tasty. The owner/chef is very friendly, welcoming, and provides a great experience with scrumptious food.
