I love the food here. I’ve been coming here for years the staff are always super nice. I could always go for some rainbow!
The food here is absolutely AMAZING! And so is their customer service. Everything is great. The jollof, pounded yams, egusi, fufu, all the soups, the goat, everything seriously! I’ve been there a couple times and I’ll always return. The restaurant is small but it gets the job done if you want to sit and have them serve you and enjoy your meal. Plus they do make you feel very welcomed! 10/10 for food and service. It’s a little hole in the wall! But boy is the food mighty!!
I got take-out to serve a rather traditional Ghanaian dinner--jollof with chicken, kelewele--for a small group of non-Ghanaians. The portions are super generous, and the food was delicious; everyone loved it. The level of spiciness was just right (tho they sell jars of shito sauce for those who like it hot!), and the people there were friendly and very helpful. I'll be back!
We drive all the way from Baltimore to visit our favorite Ghanaian restaurant. They never disappoint. The gentleman at the front desk provided superb customer service. He was extremely friendly. I got the tuo zaafi and jollof rice with beef stew. The entrees were delicious BUT the showstopper were the beef meat pie and puff puff. They were delicious! I’ve visited other Ghanaian/African restaurants, but Rainbiw remains top tier!
I was a little skeptical to try this place, since it has a lot of bad reviews, especially for customer service.
I was really happy with my experience. The man at the counter was extremely pleasant and the food was incredible. So glad I tried! I have been wanting to try fufu for a really long time, and it was worth the wait. SO delicious.
Very nice place workers are very friendly and seem to always have a smile on there faces and on top of that the food here is delicious I was come here to get food 10/10.
Had the Tilapia (asked for it to be fried), jollof and side salad....it came with dressing and a small side of tomato stew. It was delicious and well prepared. I was in a group of 6 and the service was also fantastic. The owner personally greeted us and even treated my friend to a small glass of wine for her bday. Will definitely be coming back!
SOOOO GOOOOODD! I haver had African food before!! NOW ILL NEVER BE WITHOUT IT! Only back draw is this place is wayyy too expensive! But good!
I absolutely love this place. The food never disappoints. The food reminds me of back home- authentic, quality and enough for one person if not two.
The goat meat soup, jollof, banku with okro soup and goat meat are my go to choices. They really do a super job here.
Really enjoy this place. My intro to Nigerian and Ghanaian cuisine a couple years back. If you want to try something fun get a few stews here (Palmnut in photo served on weekends is really good) and some Papusas a few blocks down the street at La Casita and enjoy an Afro-Latin American combo.
