Friendly & flavorful, mid-range $ (entrees in $17 range). We were welcomed warmly, the seating was very comfortable - and most importantly, the foos was delicious! We tasted a variety of well-balanced flavors in each dish - sweet, sour, and umami, and the food was delightfully tender... No deep-fried cannon balls swimming in sweet goo here (although I believ they have a less gooey version of these kinds of dishes too, if you like them). We had the shredded pork with dried bean curd, the kung pao chicken (Chinese style) and the Generl Tso's chicken. It was all so good, and a good value...We will be back again and again!

we all know getting really really good Chinese food in Montgomery county can definitely be a hit or miss. But every time I come to Pacifica, I am guaranteed to enjoy the food. My family and I order from this place on average three nights a week. They even have some of those specialty dishes that you can’t find at many restaurants. Check out their menu; you won’t be disappointed! Personally I love their garlic green beans, the wonton soup, chicken lo-mein or the hunan tofu dishes. The owners are very nice and the restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. If you want to have a great meal, I definitely recommend trying Pacifica Cafe.

I usually get si1gua1 "Chinese Okra" with peas, and the spicy beef dish. The cooling of the vegetable squash/melon compliments the spiciness of the beef and peppers. Roger, the gentleman who works there is very attentive and Amy the boss is good at recommending dishes. This is authentic cuisine--give it a shot!

I really like Chinese food. Before I ate here the second best was in Cleveland and the best was in San Francisco. Well, this place ruined my list...they are number 1. Food is great. Taste, variety, and quality. The owner is often there and asks about things. This is a hidden gem that is worth the drive. 6/5/20 update: Amazing food now when only take out and delivery. The owner is a super guy and everyone needs to keep these US citizens going - we need this food to stay sane and I think it is really the best I've had of this genre.

This place is amazing.I heard many friends talked about it. Eight people in my family came to see that there were many guests, no seats, and waited for more than half an hour. We ordered the scallion pancakes， fride pork buns，Bean curd wraps ，Dongpo Braised Pork，Chinese meatball stew ，Stir Fried Pork with Hot peppers，crispy duck,cashew nuts chicken，Salt and pepper pork ribs，Yangzhou Fried rice. My favorite is Dongpo Braised Pork It is very delicious with oily but not greasy taste and the fragrance of wine. All the dishes are particularly tasty，as my friend says. Best Authentic Shanghai style restaurant in MD area ！they have two menus ，one is large，the other one is small.Only weekend is a small one！You definitely should have the smaller menu because that is full of local shanghai style foods！！！ We booked our reservations and dishes for the next Saturday when we left. By the way，some of the traditional desserts are only provided on weekend，You need to make a reservation for a table in advance if you want to eat there. It is always busy！！！
