Not entirely sure why other reviews are so bad. We found friendly service, good food, and a clean dining room. The ladies' restroom is not big enough to accommodate a wheelchair or many styles of walker, but otherwise I have no complaints. Also, be aware that this location is more than a mile east of I-35. Enjoy! :-)

I've been here 3 times. The first time, the employee at the counter mocked my food allergy with the employee preparing my food. They made no efforts to avoid cross-contamination, and I ended up dealing with an allergic reaction shortly after. I was NOT impressed.
The second time (Dec. 11th, 2016) , there was an elderly gal who acts annoyed when you don't know exactly what you want 30 seconds after entering the building. The service was slow.
The third time (December 31st, 2016), the same elderly gal gave my family irritated sighs when it took a few minutes to decide what they wanted. The food came fairly quickly though.

Bugs. There were roaches big and small, everywhere. Large ones in the lights, small ones roaming the floor, in the front of the restaurant even. There was also a smell up front while I was waiting for my order, that was incredibly reminiscent of someone with an incontinence issue. Had I not been on a road trip with a hungry child late at night and everything else around was closed, I would have walked out, refund or no, without my food. As it was, I inspected every bit of food carefully before either of us ate because we kind of ran out of options and hat to eat something.

What is going on here. I travel by car around North, Central and East Texas for work. I have always counted on Whataburger for a great burger and clean place to eat. This is the first of 100' s that was not like the others. Dirty greasy floors, old dated dirty bathroom neither had obviously been clean properly in months. Staff with worn and ill fitting uniforms, dental problems and some kind of itch. The burger was cold and the bun was stale. Come Whataburger fix this store please.

I ordered the breakfast. It was suppose to be a jalapeno biscuit with sausage and egg. I had to repeat my order 3 times and when I got to work, I found that the biscuit was drier and no egg on the sandwich. I think next time I will wait til I get to Gainesville to order like I normally did.

We just stopped at what's burger #540 in Gainesville, tx. And had the worst burger I've ever had! We went through the drive through and we're on the road home before realizing that half my bun was soggy...wet like something had been spilled on it. Whoever assembled that burger knew it was bad and they served anyway! I was totally grossed out and will never stop there or any whataburger again!!!

If I could give it no stars I would my friends and I ate there September 26 at 2am and someone thought it would be cute to put some hair on my double meat burger it was no accident because I tore the peace off that would have been my next bite and there was another hair I am so pissed off we were not rude by any means and we waited for a while my advice don't eat here... and to the person that put it there you are lucky I don't know who you are or I would hit you in the face so many times you would be eating the rest of your meals threw a straw

Oh i wish i could remember the lady at the fronts name!!! She was so great she missed us leaving and came Out side just to tell us bye and have a safe trip home.. Food was great there too.

I am not from Texas nor do they have whataburger where I'm from. I was really excited to see what the hype was about and i was VERRRRRYY disappointed. The line was long so I thought the food must be great boy looks are deceiving. First of all the girl at the window was very rude, she handed me my drink which had a dead fly on the lid! I decided to look over the food and taste it, fries were ice cold and disgusting and burger was beyond gross and cold. I will NEVER go back nor will I recommend it. If you're thinking about trying it, trust me save your money and go elsewhere! You won't regret it.

It was our first Whataburger experience and not a good experience. This location is obviously older and run down. The gal brought us a tray and was the wrong order. It belonged to the table next to us. Obviously, we had touched it so they had to re make the order for them. Location was dirty and bathrooms were definitely not cleaned. I wish I had went with my gut feeling when I walked in to walk back out.

Waited 20 min in drive thru for my order that was wrong. Came back inside to get my missing order from the drive thru attendant who was giving his number to a guy for a party later. When the manager asked him to get back on the orders, he gave her an elaborate jerk off gesture. Got my missing Onion Rings. 5 stars for Craig keeping it real though.

This is the worst Whataburger ever! Bathrooms are gross, my daughter got her chicken strips and had to wait 5 more minutes for gravy. All the tables and seats were dirty. And I just heard a guy ask " Can I get my food that's been sitting there forever?". Oh and clean the dead flies off the window sill!

I will preface this by saying that I LOVE Whataburger.
Heading home from OKC and waited to get to Texas and have a Whataburger. Unfortunately it was awful. Cold stale bun. Cold burger, cold fries. Waiting over 15 minutes to get served. And it was 6:15 pm. Thinking at dinner time the good would be fresh and fast.
Staff were just standing around. The restaurant was filthy. My feet actually stuck to the mat in front of the drink fountain. Floors didn't look like they had been mopped in ages. Machines were dirty. Flies everywhere and saw a cricket crawling around the dining room.
I would suggest that Whataburger corporate make a visit there and whip that store into shape. Terrible terrible. I'll stick to my clean store in Burleson. Suggest anyone avoid this store.

We had been traveling for about a week and it was the first Whataburger we saw. It was very clean, service was great, staff seemed to enjoy their jobs, also it had a welcome feel.

The last two times I ate at Whataburger in Gainesville my hamburgers were cold. I took the burgers back the last time I and told the manager about the cold burgers. I asked her why my burgers were cold, she said she did not know why they were cold. I got my money back but that is not what I really wanted. I wished my burgers would have been hot & fresh and made to order like the commercials proclaim. They were not hot. I am very dissapointed!
