Went here once for a butterscotch milkshake. No one anywhere serves butterscotch milkshakes anymore and I hadn't had one in decades, so I was super excited to try theirs, and ordered the biggest one i could. Only it tasted like.... vanilla. There might have been the teeniest hint of butterscotch in there somewhere, but I couldn't tell and was so dissappointed. If you're going to call it a butterscotch milkshake, I expect to taste more butterscotch than milkshake and be overtaken into butterscotch heaven. That didnt happen. So I actually went online after that and ordered loads of butterscotch syrup and flavorings so I can make my own.:)

This is the first time I get to dine in the beloved restaurant that's nearly 60 years old and it's so close to my cousin Tyler and Leanne's house.

This was my first time there since I was young. They are very overpriced. They charge extra on the burgers for each item like lettuce, tomato, onions, etc. I ended up spending $12 for a burger fries and a drink. The fries were old and was refried to serve to me. I did ask for fresh fries and they did.

Little tiny eatery on the side of the road has hamburgers hot dogs and corn dogs. You can also get you a milkshake if you want one all different kinds of flavors. The only thing that was keeping them from getting 5 stars...is the Flies. Is there anything that you can do about those?

Amazing food and service. Very sad to see this was my first time getting to eat there and today will be their last day open (March 19th). Everything was perfect and the workers and customers all made you feel welcome and were so friendly. The food was fantastic. Best wishes for the workers as I'm sure they will find their new way in life. I can tell they will all be missed by the community. I'm glad to be somewhat part of their community since I live in the town next to it. Thanks for the amazing breakfast and service this morning!!!

Prices on board need to be updated. $23 for a cheeseburger & hot dog combo is a bit pricey. Very plain fries, slaw had zero taste. Would’ve rather saved the money and went elsewhere but thought I’d give it a try since it always seems to be busy.

To start they wouldnt answer the phone after 3 tries. When we arrived there was 1 person waiting on food. I spent $24 on 2 hamburger combos add cheese on both with onions, slaw, and ketchup with onion rings with shakes. I understand the "up charge " on the shakes and onion rings. When I got home discovered hamburgers were wrong. They had mustard and no slaw. The buns were stale. The meat over cooked. The onion rings and shake were good but the hamburgers were not. I will not be back except for shakes.

Reminds me of back home. Food was delicious. Quirky diner vibe going on inside.

Just Like the Good Ole Days. These folks have been making good comfort food for many years. I always enjoy going by for a quick meal.

OLD School. Listen,

If you want a great burger with all that flattop flavor or a slaw dog then look no further! DARI Spot is the place to be...

Family run spot with great service. Giving the local kids, Old and New a place to call home and a place to get some good grub! Stop in an find out for yourself! Oh, Dont forget the shakes!

It's good, if you can get in the parking lot. The hamburger patties likely come from PFG or one of the other suppliers- it's just a hole in the wall hamburger place where you do have to wait in line for a while to order or get your food. There is no drive through, but that's fine with me.

Is the food outstanding...not really at all. The fact is that it's privately owned and much better quality than any chain- also it's perfect for grabbing something on the way into or out of Gainesville. The location is good, the parking isn't. Just don't get there during lunch- as that is when they are covered up!!!
