Steak 'n Shake

Friendly staff and good food. You get what you pay for here, the burgers and fries are good, just another decent fast food burger. The staff are very nice, though. I never mind coming here. The shakes are quite expensive but they are really good. Very rich and tasty. Not too sugary, but I can’t even finish half on my own, too rich for me. Good for a quick bite or snack.

Management/owners of this Steak and Shake need to pay better attention. First, the good. The fries and hamburger were tasty and inexpensive. Next the rest, all bad. No servers, rather three people running the drive through with no attention to patrons inside. Flithy dirty everywhere, tables, floors, and bathrooms. Very slow to provide the food once order. We probably waited 30 minutes for our order to be filled. Milkshakes came 15 minutes before the food, and were served with no whipped cream or cherries, even though they clearly were ordered that way. Couldn't find anyone to complain. Burger came with lettuce that been previously frozen and therefore was wilted and was tossed. Had to ask for ketchup, which took more than 5 minutes to provide (at which point fries were turning cold). Staff (of 3) all seemed friendly but clearly were not up to the task.

This is a Steak N Shake that was clean when I saw it. Not all Steak N Shakes are clean so that's great. The indoor seating is open at this location. This location seems to be popular and well appreciated. The drive thru was popular as well. The wait times were on par with the other locations that have less customers, so they must be working well. Their shakes are good. Their burger meat is the flatter kind.

We came here while we were in town because we haven't had it in over a year. We asked for their house seasoning on the fries and there wasn't any salt or anything on them. They didn't give us spoons or straws for our shakes so we got up from our table at least 5 times to enjoy our meal and my husband had to purchase small containers of barbeque sauce to add flavor to the fries. Two stars for the shakes, I would've been really disappointed if those were messed up when I was anticipating going here.

Every time I try to come this place something ain’t ever working and can’t order food. It’s been about 3 different times I’ve tried going through the drive through at night and stuff is broke. I give it two stars though because the gentleman that’s outside at night that tells us stuff is broke is always friendly. Hope he gets paid extra having to wait out there in the dark.
