A local gem! The food is fantastic, but what really makes this place special is the staff! Everyone is so genuine, kind, and obliging. All of their waffles are gluten free, which is why I take my MIL there every time she visits us! Before I brought her here for the first time, it had been TEN YEARS since she had eaten a waffle that wasn't frozen. Definitely give it a try!

Came here for breakfast and left satisfied! I had the Skillet with sausage, ham, onions, and spinach with my eggs over hard and Cheddar cheese. It came with a lot more potatoes than I thought! However, it was a little too greasy for my taste. My boyfriend had the Plate with a pancake on the side. He finished it all, and the pancake was average. We also got a double chocolate chip scone (not pictured) and it was really good - I love scones! I liked the atmosphere and enjoyed watching Moana as I ate breakfast. It felt like my mom just made me breakfast.

Food was pretty good. Several of the songs during our stay was Grung and rap music. If you like grunge and rap, that's fine. We are not thrilled with that selection. And their defense, music and improved a little bit later. They did have some nice jazz. They only have two tables outside. One was occupied and the other was in the direct sunlight so we elected to sit inside. There was no one in the restaurant for breakfast to speak of but it took 20 minutes for us to get served.

Happily I discovered this restaurant after being told I can’t eat dairy while breast-feeding my child. Their yummy sweet curry tempeh salad cheered me up and reminded me I can still enjoy food! Customer service is great, atmosphere is nice, and a nice array of options on the menu. Definitely recommend!

Nearly the whole menu is full of healthy and fairly tasty options. I got then Venice Beach burger with a black bean patty. It was quite tasty, but the patty was dry and the sauce in the burger didn't quite make up for that. I had to wait 20 minutes for it too, despite it not being super busy when I was there. Would probably come back another time and try something different.

Harvest Thyme is an excellent lunch spot for super fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches. Salad wise, the Nutty Raisin Chicken Salad is their claim to fame, and rightfully so. Either on salad with fruit (Main Street Delight) or as a sandwich, you can't go wrong. Also, the Strawberry Fields Salad (grilled chicken, feta, & strawberries) is excellent. The best soup by far is the Curry Chicken. It's spicy and creamy perfection. I haven't had as many sandwiches here, but the few I've had have been very good. You'll pay a little more here than a standard fast food restaurant (in the $11 range) but it's well worth it.
