I’m having a food coma after the large portions I received. LOL In all actuality, it was amazing. The guacamole was creamy and flavorful. The tacos were crunchy deliciousness. I can’t wait to go back!

Outstanding traditional Mexican food. The service was top notch for the entire meal. I highly recommend the Acapulco chicken meal
The chips and fresh salsa are awesome to start the meal

The food was excellent with very large portions. I had a steak and choriso quesadilla. The flavor was wonderful. I also had a raspberry daiquiri and it was excellent.

Came in on Sunday September 5th, location wasn't full but surely was busy. Party of 12. Our server grabbed drink orders and disappeared for an but of time. They then came back and grabbed appetizers which we ordered two tableside guacamoles (this is to be made fresh at the table). After another long wait, still no drinks, the server comes back with two bowls of guacamole. No tableside in which we would e informed them that we could not have one with onions. The server then stated to us that because he himself was busy, he was not going to be doing that. Mind there is a cheaper option for regular guacamole. We informed him we needed at least one with no onions. He took the second bowl back. Still no drinks and approximately 45 minutes go by. 2 different servers come by and inform is that out current server has officially quit and walked out. We then have to give our drink orders again and have to order the other tableside guacamole again. Eventually after waiting again, we get the drinks and are able to order food. Food was ordered and honestly that was the best part about the whole thing. Food was very good from all 12 people eating. We are getting close to finishing our meals and ask to order some more drinks and are informed that it was too late and they had done last call 20 minutes prior to closing. No server/manager ever informed anyone at the table that it was last call, if that was the case, we would've ordered our second drinks then. Plates are empty and are picked up servers and while still having many patrons eating and enjoying their time, they begin to start sweeping and pick up chairs.
The lack of professionalism at this establishment is astonishing. The food was the only benefit of the meal. All of the patrons in the location are then rushed to finish drinking/eating.
I don't even know of I'd recommend take out, might mess up the order over the phone cause "they are too busy."

I come from Tucson where it's hard to beat real on the border Mexican food. This place has a great vibe. Its clean. The service is fast and always super friendly. The food is better than most places I've been outside of the Tucson area. The prices are good, too. I don't ask for anything more.

Such a nice restaurant. Price is reasonable. The taste is what makes me want to comeback. Absolutely delicious and the total amount of food is amazingly plenty. I always ask for togo box and save it for later. Even the chips provided at the beginning are so good that you can't focus on the main entree.

Had the 12 oz Steak Acapulco this time and it was absolutely delicious. Visit frequently and the food is always great, drinks priced reasonably and service is good. One of our favorite restaurants in all of Gainesville. Its a very busy place, if you have to wait it will be worth it. Enjoy.
