Best place to shop! With everything you need and then some. All the seafood is fresh! There are fresh baked goods as well and a ton of specialty items. Not to mention the prices will beat any other store hands down for general every day items.
They have such good beef it has lots of flavor and the bread oh my it's so good. I like the Wegmans brand products like the BBQ sauce and baked beans. The produce is always good too.
There were certainly no lack of food. It was a great place to celebrate my birthday and to take my guess that had just arrived that afternoon from out-of-state. We went for the seafood boil but got a couple of starters, a catfish and a seafood Fry basket with free hush puppies, as that was the special that night. We were celebrating my birthday and I received a free dessert plus a $20 gift card! A great place for celebrating 😀🎉 and I will definitely be going back to try that seafood! 🥰
Such a great place. Love how we could build our own boil. Really nice bar. Food was perfectly cooked. We had the raw oysters on the half shell and they were perfect. Service was outstanding and our server really explained the menu like she had designed it herself. Five star experience!
Our new favorite restaurant! Went there today for the first time. Hubby and I really enjoyed their delicious wings, appetizers, and of course seafood! Everything tasted fresh and amazing! Our waitress Sydney was sweet, polite and super efficient! She always checked on us with a smile to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Excited to try everything in their menu. We'll be back for sure!❤️
I’m normally not a fan of low country boils, but Seafood Dock hits different. It has elevated this brutish serving style to an art form worthy of return visits.
The difference here is incredible preparation, flavor, portions, service, and ambiance. You get a lot of food for the price with many options for customization: shrimp, crab, mussels, etc. The food arrives fast, and the severs walk you through every (messy) step. The venue features a sports bar that stretches the length of the dining room and is adorned with nautical decor.
Perhaps it’s gauche, but I don a bib (provided) and eat the seafood with my fingers right out of the boil bag. It makes leftovers facile to pack up to take home.
My one critique is the spiciness scale of their menu is too tame. We ordered our broils medium spicy at the server’s recommendation and we could easily have tolerated and enjoyed hot.
Pro Tip: Look for Seafood Dock’s generous coupons in Gainesville’s Mint magazine.
We did this as a family night adventure and it was great! We ordered appetizers first and the Lemon Pepper Wings were amazing. I picked the tilapia and chicken fried basket and the wife picked the Lobster boil, both were amazing. I enjoyed this establishment and our waiter was great. Definitely encourage you to try this place out.
Omg!!! Apparently, I was asleep on this place, so glad I woke up. We have been to one in Ocala, not bad, 2 here in Gainesville, and I'll say horrible!! Decided to give this a try and amazing. Chandler was our server and so helpful and attentive. I asked about how big the clams were, since the other past experiences were not good and he said that they take pride in what they serve and they are big. So I ordered the clam boil with garlic butter and seasoning, and wow!!! Please see the pictures attached, which is all I can say. My husband got the chicken tender basket and another wow!!! They are fresh, huge, lightly battered, and seasoned well. The order had 4, but he snatched one before I took the picture.
My friends, all I can say is give this place a try you will not be disappointed!!! You all are our new go-to place in Gainesville.
I Love This Place! Shrimp Fried Rice is absolutely delicious 😋. Super good , but the margaritas are nasty honestly!
The food quality of flavor was really good they only seem to have two menus if you know what I mean and expensive side at a cheapside my brother had the expensive side in other words one of the boils and it was really really good and I had some fried fish and shrimp and they were really good one of my barometers is french fries and they were outstanding our server was a lot of fun and I loved the ambiance.
My daughter and I have been dying to try this place. Glad we did. The atmosphere is great, and the menu is full of exciting items. We took a while to pick because everything was appealing. Our server Kat was fantastic and checked with us often. We both left full, content, happy. We WILL be back!
Great atmosphere, waitress was nice. The food was ok . It was cooked well, but the flavor wasn't there .I'm used to more of a sauce with seasoning to be added to the seafood while it is steamed. The bag i received had more of a water consistency it was seasoned, but it didn't help the overall. I would go again, but I would ask them to change a few things.
