Uncle Julio's

Uncle Julio’s is still the Best Tex Mex in Northern Virginia. We have shifted our regular meals from Fairfax to the Gainesville location because the ambiance of the restaurant is superior and honestly the staff seems better. We had a fantastic dinner served by Izzy and a great conversation with Patty, the General Manager. This location has solidified itself as our go to for great Tex Mex, great margaritas, and a really enjoyable atmosphere!

Went to dinner with my family and had a great experience. Our server (I wish I asked for her name) was great she was always checking on us and made such we had everything we need. We did have an issue but the manager Mesa came over and went above and beyond to resolve it. They both made our dining experience enjoyable. Thank you guys !

This is a really good Mexican restaurant located in Gainesville, Virginia. If anybody remembers Chi Chi's restaurants from the 80s and 90s, these dishes are reminiscent of that. The food is very good and fresh and they have the darker Smokey flavored salsa free with your meal. The margaritas are pretty good, too! This restaurant and the surrounding area is LGBTQ friendly.

My first impression entering this place was inviting and I felt welcomed by the staff/ hostess. Our server Aline was very friendly and took good care of us. Their chips and salsa is amazing, loved it. We also got the fresh tableside guacamole which is custom made for you. I recommend this place if you're craving a fine tex mex dinner experience. My boyfriend got their carne asada and I had the Shrimp a la diabla which was 10 out of 10. Their churros are good too. They have a lot of drink options. Place was clean, restrooms were spotless and vibe was nice we had a good overall experience here!

Best Mexican restaurant we've been to. We were visiting the area, so glad we stopped here. The waitress was quick, pleasant and very informative. The fish tacos and enchiladas were great, my daughters salad was large and she said it was so good. The salsa had the best favor, waitress said it was put on the grill. Awsome food.
