Zombee Donuts

THEY GAVE ME EXTRA DONUTS!!! :D THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! (Disclaimer: I never expect free things and I ask you not to demand free things either, please don't hassle employees because of my review. Don't ask, and if they happen to be nice and give you extra, thank them. <3) I've never been in-person before, but I've had co-workers buy donuts from this place before and I always liked how cute they looked. I've had the Cereal Killer blended drink too, which I really liked. Today I skipped breakfast and was starving at work, so like a famished little sewer rat on the brink of death, I ordered two donuts, 6 donut holes, and the Death By Chocolate blended drink through Uber Eats. Guys.... THEY DOUBLED MY ORDER. :O I opened the box and closed it multiple times because I was simply shocked. I checked the receipt and it was my name. These kind, lovely people gave me two extra donuts and 6 extra donut holes out of the kindness of their hearts. That was beyond sweet, and the blended drink is so so good. I'm sure the donuts will be delicious, thanks again! I'll share them with my little sisters after work. :D I just... Whenever kind things like this happen, it just makes my day. Sometimes these little acts go without recognition, so I just wanted to bring a smile to the owners, hopefully! Thank you Zo Bee!!

I had a good experience at Zombee Donuts. It is pretty warm there. I guess because they have rise the dough. The place gives me “a home away from home” vibes. I had a coffin bar for four dollars. The chocolate was rich and dough did not have an oily aftertaste. Service was great. I originally picked up four random donuts. I got a glazed with chocolate spider, one that tasted like a lemon bar, glazed with blue and orange sprinkles, and a double chocolate cake donut with chocolate cereal. Me and my brother split the four, I really enjoyed my lemon bar donut. Had a nice balance of sweet and tangy. The dough was soft and had a nice crisp edge to it. The glazed with the chocolate spider was good. The chocolate adds a nice contrast to the glaze and the glaze was not overpowering. I was expecting the spider to be stuffed with crème or a jelly. Service was super friendly, but they did not have paper towels restocked in the bathroom. I will come back just for the donuts.

Vegan donuts are hard to find, let along fresh, delicious ones. Now add on that they are horror themed and you have a rad, inclusive, fun experience. I walk my dog here at least once a week to get donuts, and I ordered some for a friends birthday and they were great - from the ordering, communication, and pick up I didn't have to worry about a thing and everyone loved them. Always recommend.

Specialty donuts, so expect a slightly higher price. They have vegan options, including a cute unicorn option. There's a limited amount of vegan options, so go in with an open mind of what option you'll be purchasing. They can also make most drinks vegan. There's a few seating options and the times I've been the seating is always empty.

My sister found this cute donut shop and I am forever grateful to her for finding this perfect gem! They have the most delicious vegan donuts! We loved it so much and came back the next day for more! The cashier who helped us was extremely nice and patient while we decided what to get. I am in love with this place and wish you guys can open another location in San Diego County!
